Need more things in room for personal care

Stayed here for a few days in February 24. Some problems at check-in, previous guest didn’t move out in time, so we had to wait a while. Not a big deal, since we just chilled by the pool, but a little weird that reception didn’t notice that the guest didn’t check out until 3 hours after checkout deadline. Rooms are ok, stayed in a deluxe balcony room. 3rd floor with pool view. Good size on both rooms and bathroom. The bed is super comfortable. The one thing.. if you want hot water in the shower, you have to be patient. I had to turn on the shower 5-6-7 minutes before the shower, just so the water wouldn’t be ice cold.. even though sometimes ice cold showers are magic in 35 degrees . The breakfast is nothing to write home about. If you have the option of skipping brekkie when booking and save some Bahts I would. Pop over the street and have a brekkie at one of the restaurants close by.. probably better value for money :) Pool is good size.. and access to the beach is very good.. I feel the hotel could use some updating. It felt like maintenance wasn’t top of the list. The sun beds and the sun bed mattresses is close to a disaster. We also had some issues with very bad smelling decoration-pillows in the room. The smelled so bad that we had to tell the housekeeping to not use them as decoration when they cleaned the room. Sadly they didn’t understand ☹️ I give this hotel 3 stars…. They get 3 because of location and size of rooms. If they would be a bit more proactive, do some updating/upgrades this could easily pop up to 4 or maybe 5 stars..

Da unser gebuchtes Hotel überbucht war wurden wir im The Samui Beach Resort einquartiert. Wir hatten die Beach Villa 2 Das Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer waren sauber. Der Blick zum Meer sehr schön. Aber alles andere war eine Katastrophe. Obwohl wir darum gebeten hatten das Zimmer um 11:00 zu machen kam das Housekeeping immer erst um 17:00 Uhr. Die Bilder im Internet sind völlig übertrieben. Das war wohl vor Jahren so. Das Restaurant war zum Abendessen ständig geschlossen, dass Frühstück war äusserst dürftig. An manchen Tagen gab es nicht einmal Teebeutel. Die Tische waren nicht eingedeckt , man musste alles selbst machen. Die Auflagen für die Sonnenliegen waren grösstenteils zerschlissen. Alles was irgendwie rosten kann war verrostet. Wir waren froh als wir nach 10 Tagen in ein anderes Hotel ( Hansar ) auschecken konnten. Danach ging der Urlaub erst richtig los.

We revisited this hotel after enjoying a great stay in 2018. We booked a poolside room for seven nights and it is sad to see how much the place has deteriorated. Despite booking a room with a double bed, we were given a room with two single beds and told that a room with a double bed would not be available for another two nights. The room with the single beds was cramped and had a broken lock on the access door to the pool, meaning that it could be opened from the outside at any time. Additionally, the power went out in the room twice on the first day. The pool is still great but the swim up bar has been closed and there is no evening meal service. The breakfast is basic at best. Disappointing to see after what it once was.

I booked for the small villa and then for a bedroom Everything was perfect, Supattra (the receptionist), was btw really attentive and kind ! if you want a good service, nice bed, amazing swimming pool you are welcom there !

We were shock !!!! Ghost hotel !! Only us !!! So unpleasant !! Pay attention that all the reviews are from 2018 ,before covid, the hotel did not recovered. It's nice facility, but only 4 rooms with guests. And more expensive then a hotel in the main area,with open restaurant and activities. Staff ? No one were there to check us out !! Scary experience.

Pensé que había reservado en un buen hotel según las calificaciones, pero…. Básicamente el hotel se encuentra a punto del abandono, el olor en las habitaciones a cañería es insoportable, me hice cambiar de habitación por eso y porque el agua caliente no servía, el restaurante, lo atiende, prepara y sirve una sola persona y el estado del restaurante es deplorable en serio parece abandonado, por el precio que pague por 3 noches, había podido conseguir algo mucho mejor, incluso en un hostal, LO QUE SE VE EN LAS FOTOS… NO ES EL ESTADO ACTUAL DE ESTE SUPUESTO RESORT. Infórmense muy bien para mi un 5/10, solo para ir a dormir, pero no a ese precio

We booked the pool villa with sea view. The room was very spacious. The bathroom is huge, as is the bath. The outside space was good, view over south Chaweng beach. The pool was big enough for 2 to cool off. There was 2 loungers and a table with benches. The hotel provided beach towels. Room was clean and modern. The hotel is located at the very south end of Chaweng beach. Further away from a lot of the main amenities, than would suit everyone. We didn't mind being this far south and meant we weren't near Ark Bar (party zone). The rooftop bar was nice & cocktails are good. Can get breezy, but there is a bar underneath. Bar staff were great and happy to play our choice of music. Breakfast was good, just the usual stuff you'd expect to be there.
