龜島塞利觀鯨構架度假飯店(Sairee View Whale Skeleton Koh Tao)

We were very well looked after at Sairee View. The hosts are super friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. Beautiful views up the mountain. A 10-15min stroll downhill to the town, with fab nightlife and amazing restaurants. A bit of a tough stroll uphill home, but we did it both nights, so it’s definitely possible. The beds were super comfy. The rooms with air conditioning are worth every penny. Bring your own toiletries, and prepare for the walk (taxis are also super easy to arrange and the hosts can help you, or rent you bikes) and this place is the perfect tranquil hotel. Thanks so much!

As the name of the resort suggests it's up the hill and offers a lovely view. It's also very peaceful. When you walk down the hill to the road (a bit steep, but we didn't have any trouble driving up), across from the resort you can rent bikes and I saw there was a laundry service. It's a short drive to Sairee beach. There was also a motorbike available at the resort. The pool is very nice, but not suitable if you want to swim laps. They offered breakfast and drinks beside the pool. We stayed in a cabin, which had a big ventilator. It was very cozy. Out of all places we went during our holiday this was our favorite and also the cheapest. There was a hammock on the porch. As we stayed in a cabin there were a few lizards in the shower that came through the cracks. There were a lot of mosquito's on the porch, but there was a mosquito net above the bed so I was not too bothered by it. You do have to consider the fact that also insects can come in, such as spiders. We had a pretty big one in our room. The host was very kind and helpful and let us check in early as I was a bit ill. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Fuyez le grossier personnage qui tient cet hôtel peu engageant ! En arrivant, l'hôtel n'avait pas notre catégorie de chambre. On a été "upgradé", mais ça impliquait de devoir refaire les valises le lendemain. La chambre était propre, mais la salle de bain puait. Le lendemain on prend possession de notre bungalow. Petit, renfermé, sombre et humide. On a eu un bal de souris dans le faux plafond toute la nuit. Impossible de dormir. Après en avoir parlé au propriétaire, il a fait preuve de mauvaise foi, en disant que ce n'était pas des souris (je lui ai fait écouter sur vidéo, il est venu entendre de lui même). Il nous dit qu'il n'a pas de solution. On réserve donc un autre hôtel à nos frais. Et entre-temps (nous étions en excursion) il a miraculeusement trouvé une solution. Il a déplacé toutes nos affaires lui-même, valises ouvertes, trousse de toilettes, etc (nous avons trouvé ça vraiment très intrusif dans notre intimité) dans le bungalow voisin. Nous sommes tout de même partis. Je lui ai mis une note de 3/10 sur le site où j'avais réservé le séjour, et il m'a répondu par une insulte ! FUYEZ !
