Hotel was good, except the room had no windows . Overall experience was good .

I 'happened' upon BH Conference & Airport Hotel due to a series of unfortunate events. I was coming in from London on Turkish Airlines- (headed to Abuja, Nigeria), and was supposed to have a very short transit in Istanbul. However, the flight ran a bit late from Heathrow Airport, so I ended up missing my connection at Ataturk, and therefore had to spend the night in Istanbul. Flights to Abuja were once daily, so the one I missed was the last and only one that day. Since it wasn't my fault, it fell to Turkish Airlines to provide accommodation for me. The transit visa, and hotel accommodation process was quite smooth and easy. Upon arrival at the BH Conference & Airport Hotel, I was immediately impressed with the lobby and/or reception area. It was beautifully decorated with a simple design that incorporated contemporary white & gray couches/chairs, giant rocks, bare tree trunks/branches, smooth white pebbles and some floating aerial white kites- lending an 'aerodynamic' feel to the space. It was all very attractive. 😍 ANIL, at the reception desk was aloofish and unfriendly. He gave me a key card to a room on the 5th floor, (Room 561). I noticed stains on the carpet floors leading to my room. Room 561's door handle was tedious and it always took a herculian effort to open it! My room was poorly lit, in addition to being very dated. There were signs of 'wear' everywhere. The overall decor looked cheap and tacky. There were horrible dark stains on the murky grey carpet, bedroom dustbin and walls, scratches/scrapes on the wood panelling. Plaster smears and smudges were clearly visible on the lower part(s) of the wall. The furniture looked tired and old-fashioned. There was a hideous, puke-green wide chair that was perhaps the single ugliest piece of furniture I've ever seen! 🤮 A wooden object parading as a table looked like something that belonged in a medical facility. The chair and table gave me serious hospital vibes! 🤢 The quartet of decorative paintings above the beds looked scanty and were hung crookedly. My room had 2 single beds that were too low in my opinion. The mattrass was lumpy and not very comfortable. One pillow was provided per bed; most hotels put two on one bed. The channel selection on the crookedly positioned, 'archaic' T.V set weren't good. Only about 40 channels were available, with hardly any English or French speaking options, just Turkish ones, plus reception and clarity was terrible. The television itself looked like it had been 'teleported' from the 1970s! There was some kind of bizarre ironing board contraption that was affixed to the wall. Please refer to all the pictures I posted. The fridge was dirty and wierdly positioned at a very high altitude. Complimentary tea/coffee satchets were provided alongside a kettle, and 2 bottles of Sirma water. The a.c was very cold and easy to operate. I have to say that this was easily the only positive feature of my room. The room's bathroom was okay. It was done in all white mar

We were placed here by Turkish Airlines having missed our connecting flight due to a 6 hour delay from Antalya. Reception on arrival was a shocker - a sort of back to school experience with a “ Turkish Airlines guests sit over there and come to the desk when we call your name” - just the sort of cold treatment one doesn’t need on the back of a 6 hour delay at a midnight check in Room was airless, mattress lumpy and could feel the springs. Shower was very basic, but it at least delivered hot water. Food was school dinners - we experienced breakfast and lunch. With lunch the best feature was the basic bread rolls Not a hotel to stay at if you can possibly avoid, and definitely a hotel for Turkish Airlines to remove from their list

The rooms are a good size, but the decor is very tired. Tea, coffee, kettle, water and safety box provided. My bath had no plug. No electrical adaptors available. The two guys on reception were very friendly and helpful, but the lady who checked me in was very rude and it gave me a terrible first impression. I found her aggressive. I was asked to sign a form at check-in, but it was about allowing the hotel to use my data so I wanted to see what it said. She told me there wasn't time to read it all, but I said I can't sign something I am not allowed to read. I asked if I could have a copy to take away instead, but her response was to dramatically rip up the form in front of me with other guests watching. I've never experienced anything like it. If I had a video of it I would send it to her employer. I don't think the customer service industry is the best fit for her.

The hotel is magnificent .. i was very surprised by the level of professionalism and respect form the stuff, with no exception they were all very helpful . the location is great. but one thing that really impressed was the quality of food, usually hotels don't provide excellent food, but BH hotel food is just abysmal .. you have to try the greek salad .. WOW amazing .. parking is free which was a plus for me .. i highly recommend this hotel and i would cone back anytime

It all started from the moment we checked in at the hotel on October 22, 2021. We had an early check-in, about which the hotel was informed and everything was confirmed. But something went wrong, and upon our arrival we were refused accommodation according to our request. The staff at the reception were not very polite, and they said there were no rooms available and our check-in time was 13:00. Our problems did not interest them at all. As a result, the hotel management had to be raised so that the issue was resolved, and we were eventually placed in the rooms at 8 am, instead of the confirmed 6 am. And magically 3 free and clean rooms appeared. But that was not the end of all the adventures in this miserable hotel, which for a moment positions itself as 5 stars! I've also want to warn you about one more nuance, if suddenly, after checking out, you decide to leave your suitcases in your friends' room, since you have a night flight, and friends have a room until the next morning, and you decide to take a walk. Then be prepared for the fact that upon returning to the hotel they will charge you a 100 Turkish lira each guest who wanted to go into friend room to collect your own suitcases. In all my great experience of visiting hotels in different cities and countries, including Istanbul hotels in the old city, I have never met such an attitude! It's a shame

I booked hotel as a tourist to Turkey and BH CONFERENCE & AIRPORT tripled their price. They wouldn’t allow me to book without anding 3 meals with booking (while I was fasting) and I made it clear I don’t want that, only room. Beware! They make the price 3x high if you are a tourist and take advantage of you DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL.
