We booked four nights at the property. Three in a “Heritage Villa With Private Pool” and one with cruise on a boat house. Initially we were lodged in villa nr. 114 and after the cruise & overnight stay on the boat house we moved to villa nr. 108 for the rest of our stay. The shower and the toilet in the villas are located outside, near the private pool. Initially a bit weird, it turned out to be rather funny as well as quite comfortable. The time we spent at the property and during the cruise was indeed memorable. Great staff, great accommodation with plenty of space and comfort, great food, great experience with the Ayurvedic treatments at the SPA. Our cruise was nothing short of awesome too. Just us two and a crew of three, including a private chef who in the on-board kitchen wizardly prepared lunch and dinner à-la-minute. All in all simply excellent. A little side note: in the park there is a large amount of crows which are active round the clock. Usually at dusk the staff shoots few shots to scare them away. We found this to be disruptive of the peace that otherwise characterizes the resort, and we hope different means can be found, as the crows are unfortunately back quite quickly after these bangs.

Estive neste resort somente para almoçar e passar o dia e me impressionou com a estrutura e o serviço. A comida muito boa, sentamos a beira do rio, lugar super aconchegante . Depois nos mostraram todos os quartos e posso dicer que fiquei com muita vontade de pousar ali, quartos amplos, limpos e bem estruturados, muitos com piscina privada e jacuzzi. Super indico

Ci siamo fermati una settimana, non andresti più via, è tutto pressoché perfetto. Ambienti pulitissimi, sia interni che esterni, personale numerosissimo, molto cordiale ed efficiente; ricordiamo con piacere Krishnadas, Adith e Johny, tutti del servizio ristorazione, con cui ovviamente abbiamo interagito di più, ma è stato fantastico anche tutto il team della reception. Noi abbiamo preso una delle ville su due piani che danno sulla piscina circolare di 200 metri, si entra in acqua direttamente dalla veranda della villa, impagabile. Le ville hanno un affascinante bagno esterno, molto particolare, che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo. Bellissima la infinity pool che da sul lago. Si mangia benissimo in entrambi i ristoranti, quello di pesce che si affaccia sul lago e dove si può stare all'aperto e quello dove si fa anche colazione, a buffet. Un buffet con una infinità di piatti buonissimi. Bello anche il ritulale del caffè/tè gratuiti con snack del pomeriggio in riva al lago. Da non perdere i trattamenti ayrvedici alla spa, c'è anche una piccola ma efficiente palestra. Il resort organizza alcune escursioni a pagamento, tra cui l'imperdibile giro delle backwaters del Kerala in barca. Molto carina anche la boutique con artigianato locale. Una perla di resort.

The AC's busted, and dealing with customer service is a total nightmare. I've told them a bunch of times the WiFi's dead, but nothing's been done about it. Even when we checked in at 8 PM, we still had to wait around for half an hour because our room wasn't ready. Honestly, you're better off booking with a different hotel chain.

Nice tropical property, but really of no special cultural or historical significance. The food was good. Service and rooms are difficult for foreign visitors. It's probably a great place for domestic travelers who want affordable luxury and relaxation. We stayed in Duplex Villa on meandering pool. There are 18 steps from upstairs bedroom to bathroom on narrow winding staircase with no lighting. If you do go, stay in a one story flat. The fast boat adventure was great. The drivers all very good for excursions and airport transfers.

Je ne suis pas déçue. Je suis venue en 2004 et c’est toujours aussi bien. Les mandering pool villa sont exceptionnelles. On saute dans l’eau de la piscine qui mesure plus de 400 m et serpente entre les villas. C’est comme un bassin de nage immense. La piscine est parfaite. Le jardin magnifique, et le personnel aux petits soins. 👏👏👏👏
