梅勒斯城堡飯店(Le Chateau de Mei Lese)

- Bien l'emplacement et la vue. - Pas bien le bruit de la route très fréquentée, une décoration envahissante et très ordinaire (que du faux ancien), un parking fermé aux clients la voiture dort dehors, pas de frigo, pas de cafetière ou théière en chambre, un écran TV miniature inregardable en chambre, le salon fermé le soir pour pas déranger les patrons qui regardent leur télé écran géant réservée pour eux, énormément de paperasses à l'arrivée comme si nous changions de pays et arrivions en Afrique, lit de 140, pas de couette mais une couverture, une douche totalement étriquée, des codes partout du coup on se sent en insécurité... Bref on ne recommande pas du tout. Vaut mieux prendre un AIRBNB ! La direction pourra répondre ce qu'elle veut ce sont un4 étoiles africain pas français. Nous avons vu des des 2 étoiles en France autrement plus confortables.

Le site est formidable! Vraiment. Mais le personnel est inexistant. L’accueil est fermé et vous devez sonner pour que le réceptionniste, qui est aussi le patron, le barman, l’homme a tout faire, le chauffeur de navette, etc etc.., Cet personne très antipathique parfois refuse de nous donner des glaçons pour la raison que nous avons apporté nos bouteilles! Pas de frigo dans les chambres! Lit brinquebalant pour la chambre 530 au rdc de l’annexe. Par contre c’est très propre . Mais pour en revenir aux quatre étoiles de cet établissement , nous aimerions comprendre ce type d’établissement peux obtenir 4 étoiles si ce n’est par l’opération du saint esprit! Mais ne nous plaignons pas nous avons payé 289 euros par nuit sans petit déjeuner et sans aucun service . Mais le mieux est j’opérai bien situé !

Really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It had a nice classic French style Chateau feel to it along with modern amenities such as comfortable beds, A/C and location.

Its hard to articulate how special and unique this experience was. Staying at Chateau Mei-Lese is like stepping back in time into the most charming beautiful hotel of days past. The views from the units are absolutely breathtaking and the grounds are stunning. The staff and proprietors are unbelievably nice and as a first time visitor to the area, they were all extremely helpful when we asked anything. A few things to note: 1. This is an old chateau that is immaculately kept. The rooms are all beautifully furnished with antique style finishes. As I said before, it is like stepping back in time (in a wonderful way). 2. It is air conditioned 3. We did not use an elevator and we were on the 2nd floor and it was totally fine 4. Don't skip breakfast on the pool terrace. It is magically serene. 5. Highly advisable to rent a car when staying here. So much to see but we needed to drive to it. This was a special experience and my family all loved it and would look forward to returning.

This hotel is amazing. The pictures simply do not do it justice -- the setting is fantastic. the rooms are small, but not smaller than normal European rooms. the service is impeccable. I cannot say more nice things about this hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when I stayed so I did not get to try it out, but I'm sure it would have been great. The pool area was just an oasis in the middle of perfection, even if you just wanted to sit next to it and relax. Overall, the place is quiet, safe, and luxurious. You feel like you're in a private chateau, even when there are other guests. One thing to keep in mind -- Transit in the area is lacking and sometimes getting an Uber can be difficult. While the hotel does have a taxi and knows some local companies, it is better to plan ahead to ensure you can get to the other towns (e.g. Saint-Tropez or Cavalaire-sur-Mer in a reasonable amount of time) in a reasonable amount of time. Also, there are few stores nearby, so if you want to have extra drinks or snacks in the room, make a point to pick those up at some point too.

We had a most pleasant stay at the Château de Mel-Lésé which is more like a nice home than a "château", but that does not matter. The interior of the place is old-fashioned French, but the bed was excellent, with a good bathroom (despite showering in the bathtub). All in line with the modest prices. Wonderful friendly staff and the most amazing views.

We had the best experience possible: first, the hosts are absolutely lovely, and it would be a pleasure to come back just to see them. Second, the view is amazing - you wake up with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean sea. Last but not least, the food was delicious and the service impeccable. A full on, perfect experience.
