Our stay at the Charmant was nothing short of wonderful. It was a magical, perfect experience for my now fiancé and I! I booked our stay to celebrate our anniversary and the service/experience we received was more than we ever expected. Every single staff member was kind and personable which made our stay feel even more meaningful. We felt comfortable and welcomed. The complimentary chocolates upon arrival, free coffee tokens, and gifted one free drink each for our anniversary dinner made our celebrated moment together all the more perfect! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We will most certainly return and recommend! Also, Noah & Harley from the Charmant are fantastic! And every staff interacted with from 12/13-12/14 deserve to be recognized!

Beautifully renovated old building. Bar/lounge is right next to desk. Very loud during happy hour. Distracting while trying to check in.

I would have given a 5 star rating but coffee was not provided in the room. Very comfortable rooms and spacious bathroom. Had a pleasing experience at the bar as well.

The Charmant was an absolute delight to stay this the past weekend. From the moment you walk you were greeted by kindness and it never stopped. We had drinks by the bar while listening to live music and had dinner after a busy day. One of the best stays I have had in a long time! I will defiantly be back!

The Charmant is a beautiful hotel with a gracious staff. The location near the river and a couple blocks from downtown businesses.

We came for a nice to see a comedian we love at Viterbo. The hotel was a perfect spot, amazing old building, lively and beautiful bar areas, nice room! We’d love to come back in summer to enjoy the rooftop and more of the outdoors.

The room was expected to be beautiful with the exposed brick, however we had a huge white washed beam that ran the ceiling and most of the wall. It ruined the aesthetic and the whole mood of being there for a birthday. The restaurant was mixed quality. The drinks were quite bad, the appetizer and soup were decent, and the entree was outstanding. This mix in quality made the experience somewhat blah. Coffee in the morning was outrageously overpriced with the “free coffee” tokens good for a hot coffee or $1 off others. Getting a free coffee or $3-5 off would be reasonable. We spent $12 after discounts on two iced coffees which were very average. It was a neat experience overall and the place had a ton of character, but so much fell flat for us.

The hotel had great staff and service. We were able to walk everywhere we went. Highly recommend!!

The Charmant is in a former chocolate factory that has been beautifully repurposed, with exposed brick walls and factory signage throughout. The restaurant was a highlight—we loved the cauliflower risotto and craft cocktails. The staff was excellent, and the hotel is only a block from a park fronting the river. I would come to LaCrosse for the express purpose of staying here again.
