普萊西德湖薩米特飯店(Bluebird Lake Placid)

Très bel hôtel. Beaucoup de place au premier étage avec des coins foyer, coins cosy. Cet hôtel appelle à la détente. Chambre très propre et très invitante. Je le recommande!

Très belle chambre très tranquille avec vue spectaculaire sur le lac! Les aires communes sont magnifiques. L’hôtel venait juste d’être rénové lors de notre passage, et tout n’était pas encore déployé, mais on a fait un très beau séjour.

Lit confortable et emplacement bien situé ! À améliorer: il n’y a pas de vaisselles… Il serait utile de mettre des verres de vin et des tasses … L’aménagement des chambres est étrange …

Il n’y a pas de cafetière dans les chambres. Pas toujours du personnel disponible.

I had stayed a few times at this hotel years ago, before it was the Bluebird. I was completely shocked to walk in and see the transformation. The attention to detail regarding the decor and the ambience is amazing. We stayed in the king suite and it was simply the cutest. The fact it was so affordable was the icing on the cake. I will definitely recommend and stay at the Bluebird in the future.

They gave us the room in the first floor and it was too noisy whole night and day. People on the second floor was making noise and we couldn't sleep all night. It's like live on first floor of the apartment. I complained to the staff but they said they can't do anything about it.

Wonderful location, beautiful hotel, but the staff was either not present, confused or disinterested in hospitality. Coffee was not available until 7:30am and ran out quickly, the bar was understaffed or not open at all, and the staff was generally aloof. Our room had a slow draining song and the bathroom door lock was loose - both of which I informed the staff about but went unresolved over the course of our two-night stay. Under the right management this would easily be a 5 star hotel.

Arrived to hotel and work was yet to be completed on the drive up entry so we pulled in and used the side entrance. What they have done is quite nice inside the lobby with a super cozy fireplace / quiet area. The attempt being made to make it look new was accomplished but still an old feel to the rooms and elevators, hallways. No one at desk at times, wanted a drink at the bar and no one was there around 830 and the entire lobby was empty. The "pull out bed" in the king junior sweet was a couple of couch cushions and certainly not worthy of being a bed. One of the rails on the cushions was broken so it was sliding around during the night. It was meant to sleep three but my 12 year old twins could have used a proper pull out bed. Again, all fixable. Just seems as though they are trying to cover up things to make it look new rather than truly make things new and fresh. As these hotel chains come in and want a piece of the action in the ADK they need to make sure they aren't just throwing around some pine and rustic trends and opening the doors. Proper painting, proper contract work. Proper flipping the hotels and making a worthy opening.

Modern Mountain Hotel with great design details and sitting areas. Hotel is still under construction and parking was limited or non existent during the holiday weekend. Location is awesome and walking distance to downtown Main Street. With luck, you’ll have lake views. Walls are thin and windows are original. If you don’t mind the noise, this is a great spot.
