Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas

Nickel and dime resort - four seasons prices for holiday inn service. Staff was young, inexperienced, took 30 minutes to get our luggage in our room. There was a crib in our room for some reason for the entirety of the stay as well. 55 a day for valet is a joke, so is their coffee shop, and the hotel restaurant is just new agey tripe. No way is this place worth the $$.

Beautiful views, and beautiful property. Staff were unprofessional, rude, and rough. A waiter in the restaurant went off on me, service horrible.

Excellent service, with very courteous and attentive staff, just at a beautiful beach, far away from the crowds.

When I arrived I was told complimentary valet parking and turns out they charge $60 or something like that when you go to check out. Room was thin walls and we heard our neighbors which woke us up at 7am. Hotel was very empty but they put us next door to loud neighbors with 20 plus rooms empty in both directions. Stay at a better hotel. This one is not worth the money.

We went here for an anniversary trip. The staff was mostly excellent. The bellmen and front desk were particularly amazing. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms mostly have stunning ocean and estuary views.

Great hotel but def not for the price. A glorified Hyatt with Four seasons pricing. Could have better staff customer service for the price. Great beds, great views and fun drinks!

Stayed for my wife’s 40th BDay! Absolutely AWESOME…literally everything was PERFECT from check-in to check-out!
