凱悅悠選海鳥度假村(The Seabird Resort Spa, in Destination by Hyatt)

The hotel is beautiful, welcoming staff, lovely room. The only disappointment was that breakfast was not included in the price. When we went down to the restaurant in the morning to order breakfast, we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait, despite there being empty tables. In such a lovely place, we were very surprised that they couldn't manage a basic breakfast service. We had to wander around the streets looking for something to eat. Not really how we wanted to start out day.

The Seabird is a beautiful property. With its many restaurants, lovely rooms, pool and hot tub overlooking the Pacific and protected from the wind, you could have a swell vacation completely on-site. The hotel staff is wonderful at ensuring the perfect vacation vibe for both adults and kids. The Seabird and its sister property, the Mission Pacific, seem to have brought new life to Oceanside. The beach out front is about the perfect size, with play structures and nice public amenities.

This is my favorite hotel so far! Absolutely loved staying here and plan to make this my place to go when in San Diego. It really was a good spot for kids. the hotel was beautiful. Had a very coastal luxurious feel. It had a lot of families but sure it would be great for a romantic getaway too. The sound of the ocean was so relaxing, the room was super comfortable and the staff were so kind, courteous and amazing. The only downside was you must do valet. I was okay with it but it definitively adds time when you’re headed out or just want to feel free to come and go as you please. Love love love it!

SUPER impressed (and I'm not easily impressed). Every detail about this resort has been so well thought out in terms of decor, rooms, service, experience, etc. 10/10. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property overlooking the ocean in the heart of downtown Oceanside. Seems to be the hotel of choice for families. Lots of kids around the pool and resort. If you are looking for family/kid friendly this seems to be the place.

Hotel parking would be nice. Facility ran out of s’mores kits. All staff was friendly, room was clean, love the courtesy water bottle!

Amazing stay for my boyfriend’s birthday! Amenities were wonderful and Shanel at the front desk was amazing.

Beautiful very clean hotel and rooms. Generally enjoyed our 1 night stay but would not recommend for couples looking for a peaceful get away. This appears to be a popular family hotel. Lots of kids everywhere. Pool area only had available lounging next to pool edge with lots of unsupervised kids jumping, splashing and screaming. Location is across the street from public beach park which was very crowded. I think for the money you can find a more private setting, unless the Oceanside surfer community vibe is what you’re looking for. The website marketing is a bit deceiving.

I booked for one night. Get an email copy of my receipt and there fees charged that were not discussed. I was charged for incidentals and then was given a refund at checkout. Then I receive another charge for a high/low fee which was never disclosed to me. The person who checked me out said I would only be charged for destination fee and valet. Both were already disclosed so I was comfortable with that. I’m upset that a hotel of this stature would charge hidden fees. If those fees are to be charged disclose them upfront.
