凱藝飯店(Quality Inn Lakeland North)

The room was large but smelled stale like mildew or mold. The carpet was not very clean and had a ridge under the carpet like the floor was buckled or something like that. The blinds in this room did not work. Breakfast was a bag of not much. Had panhandlers in the parking lot approaching customers.

When I went to check in the lady at the desk had to do something in the back and when she came out my name was on the computer but she exited it out saying it hasn't even given me a room yet and proceeded to check in some guests that she knew. From there I went to the elevator at which point I found an empty bag of dope in the floor of the elevator. That empty bag of dope remained in the elevator for 2 days. When I went to take a shower the shower head was so clogged up that it trickled. Then at breakfast we were required to stand in line and sign in as if we were in prison. And the quality of the food was so bad there is no way someone's sneaking in there to eat. During my stay I stepped on a cockroach in the lobby outside of the elevator, that cockroach was cleaned up very quickly although that empty bag of dope remained in the elevator for 2 days. The last night of my stay when I parked my truck I parked next to someone who was either passed out or not it out at the steering wheel of his car with his car running. I wish I had known that it was choice hotels before I made the booking or I would not have booked it. Not to mention that it cost me $240 for a room that would that was advertised at $99.

They were very friendly and accommodated my early check-in because of a wedding. they were doing improvements to the property but it did not interfere with my stay.

Terrible!! Nos toco el segundo piso pero todo el pasillo huelia a cigarrillo y el cuarto huelia a hongo. Nos cambiaron al primer piso pero las llaves del lavamano cayendose, el desague de la bañera estaba rota. El plafon de la entrada al cuarto estaba liqueando. Poca empatia de los empleados del counter en la mañana. La maquina del Ice del primer piso no servia.

The building is very, very dirty. The carpets stuck to my feet in my room from grime buildup. I also had to move rooms on the first night because of the ants that were in the desk. In the new room, when I put clean clothes in the dresser, they came out smelling sour and foul, and I had to febreeze them so that I could attend my training with my company that I rented this hotel to attend. The coffee maker was full of slime and mold, and either needed to be cleaned or just replaced. A lot of the lights and fixtures are very dim and make the hotel less safe. The paint on the doors and walls is peeling and in some places is missing altogether. The wifi doesn't work, at least on the third floor, and the doors do not always close completely. The staff for the most part were alright, especially the front desk staff who were very professional. However, on my second morning, I was stopped at the breakfast bar by the woman who was stocking the food; she asked me for my room number before I could eat, then told me she had to make sure I wasn't one of the homeless people who apparently sneak in for breakfast sometimes. I don't know what bothers me more, the fact that she thought I might be a homeless person, or the fact that the hotel has problems with them. I really regret leaving a review like this, but unfortunately this experience left a lot to be desired.
