水晶湖旅館(Crystal Lagoon Lodge)

Overall this place was wonderful. It is a small and intimate and the staff is super friendly. My one gripe is just that they don’t replace the towels as often as I would have liked. You mist plan ahead as well as they close quiet early and if you are a late nighter like us then there is practically no service during those times. My husband and I enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Great location by the beach too…

Great getaway from the city for a quite, scenic and comfortable stay with an enjoyable breakfast great service. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Crystal Lagoon has some unique features in their decor furnishings. I would highly recommend this destination for relaxing and scenic destination which is not too far from Cape Town.

Amazing location with incredible views. Excellent value for money and staff are very friendly. This is our regular place to visit. Only issue I have is the rooms are very hot at night and need aircons

The location is the best possible. The sunsets were wonderful. However if you are not fit don’t go there as the stairs are narrow and long. There is no lift. The staff is very friendly but very slow. The WIFI is not stable and was told to be fibre. It was off completely at times.

What an Awesome and Beautiful place to go for a romantic getaway. The sunset sea views was just breath taking with breakfast served on the deck in the morning's and the sea in full view with seals swimming around. Very good restaurants just a walking distance away.

We had the spacious honeymoon suite with amazing views of the sea and the sunset. We had direct access to a private beach. So safe and secure as well. The staff were friendly, kind, and made us feel at home. They will go out of their way to make sure that your every need is taken care of. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at this guest house. We could walk to the beach, breakfast was good and staff was amazing. Area was safe and secure. Room was neat, view was beautiful. Will definitely come back again

We didn't expect to have to walk 50 stairs up a very steep spiral staircase to get to our room . There is no elevator. The room has no aircon. To cool the room down one has to open the passage door and patio door to get a draft through it. If the wind is not blowing from the ocean, it is impossible to get a good night's rest if there is no wind. One can hear the guests in the room next door talking and their TV. There is no cupboard to unpack your bags. We had to live out of our suitcases and it felt like we were camping. Our clothes were creased as a result. The open shower is a mess. The bathroom floor gets sopping wet everytime someone showers. We sent some washing to the laundry and got it back creased. They didn't iron it. We expected clean, ironed clothes and couldn't wear the clean clothes as a result of their laziness. Housekeeping were not consistent with the servicing of the room. The floor was sticky. The daily breakfast selection lacked variety. We had made a reservation for another 3 nights but left after 1 night as we were moved to a TINY room. We paid for two nights that we didn't use. We will not refer anyone to this hotel and also will not return. The view was breathtaking.
