Checking in, help was fast and courteous. I was directed to park by the next door for the elevator. Great, thanks. Problem is, there’s only one elevator, and my room was nowhere near it. When having to leave the next day, I attempted to find a closer door for parking, but that was not as easy as it sounds, either. Several exterior doors had notes taped on them that claimed you can exit, but there was no re-entry through said door. So then I attempted to find parking closer to my room AND a door I could get into. This should not be an issue.
Second, I get into the room easily, but trying to find light switches was not easy. In some cases, there weren’t switches. Great when walking into a dark, unfamiliar room and the lamps are on the other side. Even after turning on all lights in the suite, I felt like I was suffocating because I couldn’t see well. The lighting is inadequate, at best. I was not able to get a lot of work done.
It was late, and I chose this hotel because of the reported restaurant with decent hours and a bar. I went looking for said restaurant, and instead found a bistro bar…that was completely closed at 8:00 PM. It was dark and there was simply a sign on the counter that said it was closed. So even with a “restaurant”, I still had to head out to get a bite to eat.
I tried to get some breakfast one morning of my stay. I see a couple folks sitting in the area, but it looked dark and no one behind the counter. Sorry. Over this place. Not worth it.
