德奧奇城堡飯店(Chateau d'Ouchy)

宏偉的城堡，非常美麗的歷史。靠近中心。非常好的員工。完美的歡迎。

Quite disappointed in the attitude of staff. This is an expensive hotel. We had spent 5 hours in Switzerland when we found out our house was flooded and had to return as my elderly mother was there alone. Understand that the hotel was non refundable but we asked if they would provide breakfast in the morning so we could quickly get to the airport and they refused. Would a coffee and croissant have hurt them that much when they had a room they could resell for 2 nights or at the least not turnover. They might have been right in terms of the contract but did they do the right thing? Absolutley not.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was convenient to explore many area around Lake Geneva. The room was beautiful as were all the common space in the hotel. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast option was too expensive so we grabbed breakfast offsite. My only issue with the room was the shower. We couldn’t figure out how to avoid getting water all over the floor.

Mauvaise expérience durant notre court séjour d'une nuit : - la climatisation et l'aération de la salle de bain faisaient un bruit empêchant de dormir : Nous avons dû arrêter la climatisation, température de 33°c ce jour là - la literie était inconfortable au possible car certainement trop ancienne, le matelas se creuse littéralement et les oreillers idem deviennent du papier à cigarette - Nous sommes restés peu de temps à la piscine car à l'extérieur des remontées d'égoûts nous ont rapidement fait fuir, idem le lendemain matin lorsque nous avons commencé à prendre notre petit déjeuner à l'extérieur avant de se rabattre vers l'intérieur (dommage, il faisait un super temps dehors). Pas vraiment digne d'appartenir à la chaîne Small luxury hotels Collection...

Our stay in this historic hotel was wonderful. We booked a superior room with a lake view since we were only staying one night and decided to splurge! We arrived at the hotel before check in time and were delighted to get upgraded to a larger room with the lake view. This was the largest and nicest room that I’ve stayed in anywhere. The room had separate bathroom (toilet and sink) and bathing room (large bath tub / separate shower stall). Bathrobes were provided along with plenty of towels. All the fixtures were high quality and in perfect condition. All beverages in the fridge were complimentary. The beds were very comfortable. A word about Lausanne, the last city that I selected for our Swiss vacation. It is a beautiful small city with a spectacular cathedral. I greatly enjoyed experiencing the city’s culture and diversity. I hope to return to Lausanne and would definitely stay at Chateau D’Ouchy again.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, however the design of the shower is terrible. It is impossible to take a shower without water getting everywhere in the entire bathroom. No curtain, one quasi glass panel that did next to nothing to stop the slash of water exiting the shower. That is literally the only complaint we have, otherwise it is a lovely place. The staff was wonderful, our massages were great. And we love the area.

The hotel was incredible. If you are visiting Switzerland and want to be right on lake Geneva, this is a great location. The city metro is directly across the street and the hotel provides a transport card. Highly recommend.
