普拉茲農場住宿加早餐旅館(La Ferme de la Praz B&B)

Beautiful quiet place near the lake of Geneva. Super friendly hosts and amazing breakfast.

Previous reviews echo how we felt during our 4 night stay at la Ferme de la Praz. It was just perfect - the room and bathroom, the breakfast, library for relaxing - and particularly the welcome from the hosts Katty and Martin. They were so helpful, with ideas for interesting places to visit, stunning hikes to go on, and varied restaurant suggestions for dinner. It was a wonderful stay.

The best location for peace and quiet - La Ferme overlooks the farmlands and has a view over the lake and mountains. There is a swing and lounge chairs underneath the shade of an apple tree, and a jacuzzi underneath a pear tree. It is run by a lovely, friendly couple. The check-in comes in your choice of English, German (or Swiss German), or French, with homemade ice tea made with something fresh out of the garden, and lots of recommendations for dinner, lunch, or hiking locations in the area. There is no restaurant available in La Praz itself. The closest restaurants are about a 10 minute drive away - so having your own transport is highly recommended. Dinner options are at beautiful locations like Le Lac du Joux, or in the historical Romainmôtier. Breakfast was okay - felt slightly limited in options, but still good. Bread, cheese, and homemade birchermuesli were available, and you could ask for an omelette or some eggs. However, you should give them warning in advance if you're vegan or lactose-intolerant, as these types of options are not freely available (eg. no oat milk), but they could potentially cater for it, as they asked for any allergies during the check-in. The owners were even as friendly and generous as to allow us to check out later and enjoy the calm in the garden for longer, due to our room not being booked for the next night. If you like a personal touch and the peaceful environment (and a loving cat coming to say hi at the jacuzzi), this is the perfect place for you.

Beaucoup de choses positives à relever dont : - propreté impeccable - chambre spacieuse - Très calme - propriétaires disponibles et sympathiques - produits de qualité pour le petit-déjeuner - très beaux extérieurs pour se relaxer avec une vue magnifique et dégagée Si il fallait trouver du "négatif " (car on peut toujours faire mieux), je relèverais juste le prix qui est quand même relativement élevé et le petit-déjeuner (bien que les produits soient de très bonne qualité) qui pourrait être un peu plus fourni (pas de charcuterie, ni d'œuf ou viennoiserie par exemple).
