溫史坦利之家飯店(Winstanley House)

La location indubbiamente merita così come la carta dei vini…. il servizio invece lascia un po’ a desiderare in quanto abbiamo aspettato un’ ora per essere serviti nonostante a tavola ci fossero due bambini…..il maiale era crudo il pollo secco ed il manzo non si riusciva né a tagliare né a masticare ( sicuramente anche per via dei coltelli non adatti ) I complimenti invece vanno al cameriere ( che parla anche italiano ) il quale con molta simpatia disponibilità e professionalità ha saputo strapparci dei sorrisi sinceri e di gusto….BRAVO !!!

We had our end of year work so here last night, everything was perfect The staff was all amazing and the food was very good, I would recommend this place to anyone Really well structured from start to finish well done to all the staff We will be booking next year for both our businesss Sightline Aluminium and Richardson and Hall Luxury Developments

We hosted a wedding in the grand ballroom and stayed in the junior suite that night. The team were fantastic to plan a wedding with and the venue was beautiful. Our suite was very nice to stay in. The room was clean and equipped with consumables and a coffee maker and kettle. The room and bathroom were big. The bed was comfortable and the room had 2 sofas and a TV. The breakfast the next morning was served quickly and was very tasty. The staff were very friendly. We definitely recommend Winstanley House whether you want to plan an event like a wedding, or if you are looking to stay in the hotel.

From the moment we arrived for our meal in the Black Iron restaurant, to the moment we left, everything was just perfect. The staff were very attentive and lovely, especially Leisia (apologies if not the correct spelling). She looked after us so well, very professional, but with a warmth and friendliness about her. We all had the rump steak, which was cooked to perfection accompanied by a very drinkable bottle of Merlot. The restaurant is a beautiful room, as is the rest of the hotel. All the staff there are just lovely. It was a pleasure to be there and would thoroughly recommend this place and would have no hesitation in returning again.

We came on the Steak and Stay deal. We were greeted by a smiley, efficient and professional receptionist. I wish I'd made a note of her name to give her special credit. Our bedroom was gorgeous with lovely furnishings, chandeliers and view over the beautiful gardens and trees. Dinner was fine. A special shout out to waiter Killian who was excellent. Only a couple of grumbles. Our onion rings were cold but they took them off the bill when we mentioned it, so fair enough and I would have liked another shelf/ surface in the bathroom to put toilet bags on. Met the chef at breakfast who was very friendly and bigging up his perfect poached eggs- and indeed they were.

We hosted our charity gala event at Winstanley House in September and couldn’t have been happier with our experience; the team at Winstanley are wonderful to deal with. Taylor our event co-ordinator was brilliant and very supportive in the run up to the event – she responded quickly to all of our queries and was so helpful during the preparation stage. Taylor and the other staff present at our event provided outstanding customer service, from our set up during the day, to the evening itself. Nothing was too much trouble and many of our guests commented on how great the service was. The food provided was delicious and the venue itself provided a beautiful backdrop for our Gala. Thank you!
