柯比之家(Mallories Formerly Kirkby House)

I booked a twin room for BUCS Duathlon to be close to Mallory Race Track to capitalise on the close location. I was very impressed - tastefully decorated bedroom which was perfect for our one night stay. The restaurant was lovely and the food was excellent and catered for all tastes. It was not expensive and I felt the hotel and food were very fairly priced. I would definitely recommend a stay especially for an event at Mallory Race Track

Excellent food and service highly recommended. Good selection on the menu. Relaxing atmosphere and dinning room recently decorated and well presented. We went on a Tuesday and when we asked for the bill we were given a coin to toss and when it came out as heads we got 50% off the bill !

My wife and myself have just visited and had the Sunday roast. It was our first visit since their revamp and I must say we were both very impressed. The decor is fantastic and the food was delicious, We were a bit apprehensive beforehand as a few reviews commented on service and believe me we've had a few bad ones locally lately. I am happy to report we had very good service and a very pleasurable meal . Will definitely return well done Mallories

An excellent Sunday lunch well cooked meat, fresh green vegetables, mash, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, roast carrot and a parsnip. the gravy was also very tasty a perfect meal beautifully presented.

Room was fine, nicely sized and clean. No breakfast but had a good selecting of tea and coffee and everything else we could have needed. Parking on site was free the 1st night but we don't it full then next night due to inconsiderate parking taking up all the space so we had to park on the road outside.

Excellent small hotel, with personal service. Good tasting and reasonably priced food in the restaurant. Would thoroughly recommend.

Ideal position as we were working at Mallory park race track, shower in the room was a little strange, in the corner of the room but with a clear glass door, so you could watch your partner shower from the bed😂😂. Disappointed that bar and kitchen are shut on a Sunday evening as we didn’t get finished til 1730, went to Barwell for a takeaway, staff very helpful providing cutlery and plates for the room. Would definitely stay again if working in area again.

Had a voucher to spend from our parents from Christmas. Never bee, so didn’t know what to expect. Well, it was simply lovely, had mushroom to start which was different and beautiful. Burger for main which was one of the best I’ve had in years. If you like blue cheese it’s a must. Kids had pasta which they enjoyed and the wife had cod also very nice. Thank you to the lovely staff and complements to the chefs. We will see you again soon.

Last minute booking on line very efficient Food was awesome went to meet the young chef Josh to thank him Was awesome Main courses were fantastic lamb dish and cod were very good. Presentation and service was fantastic A great experience for our local restaurant
