格爾恩洛亞飯店(Glenroyal Hotel)

I have stayed at this hotel 4-5 times because there is not many options in Maynooth center, that why they tend to have high prices for rooms, they have done some renovations to the place and it looks better, unfortunately on Saturday night the smoke alarm went off twice 11:30pm and 12:30am, and again on Sunday morning around 11:30am the staff seemed to think it no big deal from my conversation at front desk, unfortunately for me my son got very scared about the situation and didn’t sleep very well that night.

Glenroyal is a very nice hotel at good location. Spacious hotel room and have different facilities, like the kids club and restaurants on the ground floor.

When we arrived only 1 person in check in desk waited 15 mins to check in Arrived into the family room it was absolutely disgusting smell of cigarette smoke it was overwhelming the pillows cushions all were smelly .. told reception the problem they advised no other room available spoke to duty manager next morning they moved us to another room so we had to repack our luggage Found the whole experience just not relaxing at all … I asked could something be offered for the inconvenience told NO not good enough extremely disappointing

Lovely stay at this lovely hotel. Staff were great. Special mention to the lovely girl working on the leisure centre reception Monday 18th September at about 7pm. There was a massive queue, systems were down and she handled it like a legend. Deserves a thank you!!

Unhappy with dinner - wait just to put order in was 45 minutes which was unacceptable when you have a child. Ordered cocktail and this took approx 40 minutes to be made

Reception, bar and restaurant all lovely. Food was good at both the dinner in the restaurant and breakfast. Rooms and corridors in need of refurbishment. The family pool is very dated.

Cuando hemos llegado la puerta de la habitacion estaba abierta y la cama pequeña sin hacer y llena de pelos y suciedad. Los colchones muy duros casi mejor dormir en el suelo. A las 5 de la mañana sono 2 veces la alarma de incendio, y a las 6 de la mañana las de la limpieza empezaron a mover los carros y aspirar, vamos que te quieren echar de ally cuanto antes. Fuimos a desayunar, cogim9s varias cosas y al rato nos levantamos de la mesa para coger zumo y algo de fruta, la sorpresa fue cuando volvimos a la mesa ya no estaban nuestros platos y ya la estaban preparando para otros comensales. Pues este fue un pequeño resumen de nuestra estancia ally, Para nosotros es el peor hotel en el que hemos estado en Irlanda. No se porque dicen que es de 4 estrellas ya que todo el mobiliario parece ser del siglo pasado, no hay regulador de la calefaccion y hemos pasado mucho calor... Nunca mas volveremos ally

Wheelchair accessible family room is a bonus not many hotels have them,breakfast was lovely and staff friendly.

Hotel was reasonably priced with excellent access to local train station. The family room was large and very clean & comfortable. The Leisure centre was exceptional and very family friendly. The breakfast was also very good with a lot of choices. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only downside was that the room had no air conditioning and was quite warm during the night. Overall we had a very nice experience and would recommend this hotel to other families.
