谷雪維吉飯店(Hotel Courcheneige)

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour Courchevel. Très bon accueil, le chauffeur pour les navettes pour Courch' 1850 était trop sympa. La réactivité pour que nous passions des nuits reposantes a été apprécié (demande de sur matelas) Locaux très propres et confortables. Le petit goûter a 16h était très apprécié! La formule demi pension est super, les dîners sont diversifiés et de qualité. La chambre double supérieure était confortable (petit hic, le bruit des toilettes au dessus de notre chambre 212!). Merci pour ce séjour.

Veel beter kun je ze niet vinden, dit soort hotels om te skiën. Hotel Courcheneige ligt op de piste. Je glijdt het skilokaal uit en je zit midden in het beste skigebied ter wereld. Het centrum van Courchevel ligt op 2 minuten skiën naar beneden. ‘s Avonds kun je de hotelshuttle nemen naar het centrum om de winkels te bekijken. Het ontbijt is van zeer hoge kwaliteit en het diner is geweldig lekker. Wat een mooi en gezellig restaurant én lekker eten. Prima bediening, alles op en top in orde. De bar buiten aan de piste: ideaal voor een apero in de zon. Het skilokaal is schitterend. Je latten liggen elke morgen klaar in de sneeuw. Klik en weg! Geweldig. Je kan verschillende richtingen uit vanaf het hotel om het skigebied in te duiken. Nooit aanschuiven aan de lift, pal tegenover het hotel, ook niet in de drukste weekends of vakanties. Ski dus niet direct naar beneden, naar de centrale liften, maar neem eerst de zetellift dichtbij het hotel. Dan zit je direct helemaal boven in Les Trois Vallées: super! Niet twijfelen maar doen dit hotel! De kamers zijn zeer mooi en charmant. Alles wat je wil.

Un accueil très chaleureux, pour tous les services : réception bar restaurant ski room étages ; un décor fort sympathique, une salle de restaurant très confortable et une cuisine matin et soir digne d’un Très bon chef sans oublier les pâtisseries le pain excellent, la carte des vins et le service très attentionné ; des prix très raisonnables sur les pistes de courchevel ; Merci à tous

Personnel du bar, du restaurant et du ski-room (indépendant) très sympathique. Demi-pension correcte et petit-déjeuner médiocre. Chambres qui peuvent être minuscules et surtout, d’un autre âge, à l’instar des salles de bain. Ménage et entretien minimal. La.baignoire n’avait pas été souvent récurée pour ne pas l’user j’imagine. Pas de bouteille d’eau en chambre et globalement service minimum totalement indigne d’un 4*. Le plus scandaleux est la façon dont on vous plume en vous demandant 20€ de frais de service pour établir un forfait de ski, même si ce forfait est limité à la journée. Cela ajoute environ 30 % à la valeur d’une journée 3 Vallées !!!! Bref, sans doute la pire expérience dans cette station et une expérience à ne jamais renouveler.

What, oh what has happened to a once much cherished hotel. The current directors and management cannot destroy the fact that the Courcheneige is in a great spot on the mountains. As for everything else, they are doing their very best. By no stretch of the imagination is this a 4* hotel experience. My apologies for a long review, but I am not in the habit of posting negative comments, so feel that a proper explanation of events is necessary. Our sorry tale started on the 27th April 2023, when we emailed the hotel directly requesting two rooms for three adults and one child for the week beginning 23rd March 2024. The reply on the 14th May explained that the team were on holiday and would provide us with a quote when they return in August. We finally received a quote on the 25th September for the right number of people, but for just 4 nights starting on 20th March! Having pointed out their error, the hotel replied with a new quote for the right dates, but this time for just two adults and one child. At this point we decided that it might be easier to get the right outcome if we booked through the hotel web site. After some searching, we found the special offer tab – March ski hire and lift pass inclusive weeks - at the bottom of the room type page. This appears to offer two options. Contact the hotel using a form – well you can image our thoughts on that – or via a booking bar across the top. We used the booking bar to reserve two suites and received an email confirmation. As was forcefully pointed out to us on arrival at the hotel, we had already made two schoolboy errors. 1. It seems the contact us form on the page is the only way to obtain the all-inclusive package, in which case why would the booking bar alternative even appear on that tab. 2. We interpreted the ‘half board basis’ of the confirmation as meaning not including lunch – the normal use of the term - not that we had not obtained the ski hire and lift pass, after all we had booked through a tab on the web site that specifically provided that. On arrival at the hotel, we requested our ski hire vouchers – required at the on-site ski shop – and ski passes to be told in no uncertain terms that we had only booked half board and not the all-inclusive package, and that we would have to pay a further 1,800 euros to upgrade. Fortunately, I was able to find an eMail – 25th February – in which I asked the hotel to confirm that “our all-inclusive tariff includes 3-Valleys ski passes and ski hire”, to which the response was “Regarding the All inclusive package, i confirm the 3 valleys skipass and ski hire are included”. At this point, it was surely the hotel’s responsibility to clarify any confusion if they felt there was any, and to correct our booking mistake if they thought that we had made one. Even now the Manager did not concede, saying that the hotel’s response to my question was a generic “if you had booked the all-inclusive package, it would include the passes and equi

The location of the Hotel is outstanding. It could be the best spot in Courchevel 1850 for hotel and Aprés-ski. Unfortunately the hotel policies are not aiming to welcome guests, but to ostentiously maximize short-term profits. The most absurd policy is to charge €10/day per ski if you would rent it from another place (which is 1/3 of the hotel price). If you would bring your own skis they will charge zero. This is ultrageous and illegal (against the very basics of EU competition laws). The hotel is old but well taken care off and the food is good. The wine list is poor and expensive.

Fabulous hotel right on the slopes. Skis laid out on slope ready in the morning , if you choose you can have help on and off with boots . Lovely comfortable warm room ; which if too hot had the Option to be able to open a window !!! Staff helpful at all times. Food was good - lovely buffet breakfast . Supper was a choice of two for entree and main with a splendid choice of desserts and cheese. Weird entrance into hotel through a “ garage door” then corridors and lifts to reception but understandable as located on the slopes. Could not fault.

As a couple, we stayed at the hotel in early February. Whilst sat outside on the terrace one early afternoon, we tried to order one pizza to share between the two of us as the pizzas are large and we were not that hungry. They refused to serve us only one meal, stating we must buy two dishes. Given we are staying at the hotel and not just passing trade, you would think they would want to satisfy their guests!
