布賴頓卡帕多西亞旅館(Cappadocia Guest House)

This hotel is a little gem but they've got to make improvements in soundproofing. The windows are single ply and you can hear absolutely everything from the pub in the corner, to traffic on the main road to passer byers at wee hours of the morning, and on top of that the noise of the bathroom fans coming from other rooms will travel through the room in a horrendous bass sound that won't let you rest. I complained to the management and they sent someone over but the noise didnt go away until after an hour. The rest of this place is very pleasant and facilities are clean, with a very comfortable bed and sheets. The cafe downstairs offers a good range of breakfast iptions and their coffee was great. Its such a shame about the noise otherwise it would have been good.

Great value accommodation in a good area of Brighton. The lady in charge was very friendly and helpful and didn't quickly relocated us to another room when there was a problem with the bathroom door. Discounted breakfast in the cafe downstairs was very nice. Be aware that the stairs are rather steep (there is no lift) and the rooms are smaller than shown on the website.

Stayed 3 nights. Hotel is in a great location, less than 10 minutes walk from train station and in the centre of Brighton making it accessible to walk to most attractions. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags in the room but couldn’t have a key as they “needed to cut one”. The room was clean with nice touches of complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, tea, coffee and water. Only negative points were that we couldn’t fill the kettle or our water bottle from the tap as it was too small to fit them under and that we had no daily housekeeping. When I mentioned the lack of housekeeping on leaving they said we should have asked to be cleaned or put a card outside the door to request cleaning. I explained there was no card to place on the door and that we assumed that daily housekeeping was automatic, apparently we should have been informed on check in that we had to ask, but they were so busy trying to find the key they obviously forgot that point. So remember if you want your room cleaned then tell them on reception.

We had an 'ok' stay at Cappadocia Guest House. We had one of the top floor rooms and it didn't look anything like the photos, it was quite dated and dark and did not smell 'fresh' but it was clean and tidy. Some details really let it down like the bathroom door was falling off the hinges (my husband actually fixed this) and the pictures on the walls were simple screwed through the frames onto the wall and the bathroom faux marble wonderland. That being said there were robes, slippers and toiletries in the room but not enough toilet paper for a 3-night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs is very good and you get a discount for staying at the guest house. The location was amazing, but quite noisy with a karaoke bar just downstairs, but that piped down around midnight or so. So not great, but not terrible either, probably decent value for money.

Good value. Good location for town and seafront. Accommodating staff to help with late check in and providing care of our luggage after check out. Room was cosy but had everything we needed.

The accommodation was beautiful. The welcome was good too by Sultan (a lady). Good location with easy access to the train station and not too far for the pier and seafront. Discount of 10% for the café next door which we weren't able to use. One downside was the tiny wash basin but the shower was good. Unfortunately cigarette smoke from somewhere got into our no smoking room.

Very friendly welcome, i was bit early and room wasnt ready. The owner got room ready whilst i wsited, and, offered a Turkish tea. Room was fine, comfortable bed. Clean, but small bathroom. Still, dont stay long in bathroom. My room was at the back of property, left side door for entry, made it a nice, silent night for sleeping. Use again? If visiting Brighton, yea, i will. Only 10 mins from the station as well.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is so clean and comfortable. One problem is at room no.16 the chandelier light hanging a little lowwr with loose wire which a bit concerned me and this need to be fix it asap. Apart from this, all good and everything you need are so close to you and the train station too 😊

Absolutely brilliant location, the bed was so comfy, the shower was super hot. Our door was playing up a bit so the owners got it fixed whilst we were out at an event so we didn’t affect our plans whatsoever and was sorted out so quickly I was very impressed. Also the cafe downstairs that you can get 10% off at does really good coffee and cakes! Deffo would love to stay again and highly recommend. Thank you to everyone at Cappadocia guest house for making our stay so great!
