歷史飯店(Nermo Hotel & Apartments)

We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening during the ski season, booked just a few days before. The welcoming fire, friendly staff and excellent service were part of the experience and our 3 course meal with paired wines was a delight. If you want a special evening at a wonderful restaurant, then this is the place.

We had an amazing holiday at Nermo Hotel. Although the ski bus did not arrive on the first two mornings and evenings, it was no problem, as the staff drove us the short distance to the ski slopes and collected us again at the end of the day. It is a beautiful historic hotel and the staff were all very friendly indeed. We were well looked after and look forward to returning again next winter. We also loved sitting by the large open fire in reception in the velvet sofas.

I have desperately tried to give this business a positive review but simply I cannot. I have therefore decided to be honest. My wife and I stayed for a week's skiing in early March at this hotel. It was not q happy experience. There was a ski bus that cost more than a taxi and required a treacherous walk. There was hardly anyone staying in the hotel but the hotel did not even offer to take us to the lifts when the hotel's vehicles were seen around the lifts regularly. It therefore cost us an additional £40 per day in taxi fares to get to and from the lifts. It was just about possible to walk it but the pavements were sheet ice and my wife was terrified of falling - she has rheumatoid arthritis. The hotel did not care at all and made no effort to assist. They were just about willing to ring for a taxi for us. The food was appalling. Meat stew most nights - and not enough food to fill us up after a hard day's skiing. Bland and tiny portions. Zero points for this! The rooms are basic but adequate and that is the only reason this hotel gets 1 star. Otherwise I would have given it no stars if that were possible. I have no doubt the hotel will blame covid but in my book that is no excuse for them being so incredibly unhelpful and providing us with inadequate meals and service. I could go on but don't want to waste any more of my time on this dreadful business. Avoid.

Jeg synes det har været en lidt ærgerlig oplevelse med hotellet. Vi ankom om natten og havde fået af vide at vi bare kunne tjekke os ind med en nøgle de havde lagt frem i en postkasse. Men nøglen var den forkerte, så vi måtte vente 2 timer ude i -14 grader inden vi kunne ringe til receptionen, og der så kunne komme én og give os en ny nøgle. Han sagde ingen ting, hverken undskyld eller gav os en fordel… så det var lidt en dårlig oplevelse…
