What a beautiful place to stay. A character building with lots of quality features, friendly helpful staff and beautiful rooms. Amazing bath in our room and the shower was brilliant too. The property still holds lots of original features but is well maintained and kept up to date as needed. The seafront only took 5 minutes to reach and the welcome pack gave us some good information to help us make the most of our visit to Llandudno. I would highly recommend!

What a wonderful recommendation from a friend who lives locally . The hotel has a magical charm of a bygone age with the modern needs of today. The manager Grace waited for our late arrival to check we had everything. The room was delightful with views to the sea on both our left and right. Very quiet so a great sleep. The owners have restored and refurbished the property beautiful, keeping all the original internal architecture. And next morning a brilliant welsh breakfast with everything and more Highly recommended.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Escape Boutique Hotel. On arrival, we were met by Grace who was welcoming and attentive (in fact she was amazing throughout our stay!) We stayed in Room 6 (the Boudoir) which was beautiful and very tastefully decorated...we especially loved the LED wallpaper and the gorgeous bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and again we received fantastic service. We celebrated our anniversary whilst there and received a lovely little card and gift. Thank you...it was very thoughtful of you. The hotel also has an excellent location- just 5 minutes walk to the Great Orme tramway and 10 minutes walk into town. We would definitely recommend the hotel and will return if we are ever in the area. Thank you

Friendly and very welcoming. The decor was lovely and really well thought for the type of property. What can I say about the bed . The most comfortable I've ever slept in . Breakfast was really good and nothing was too much for the lady who I think may be the owner. We will definitely be going back

My daughter bought us a tour of the Penderyn Whisky Distillery as a Chris**as present. Coincidently the radio 4 show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue was coming to Llandudno on the 25th. We decided to make an adventure of it. It's only about an hour from our home on Anglesey so not an arduous journey. We were delighted with our room. It was well appointed, with a great view over the town. The facilities were good, tea coffee etc. Good TV and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Private parking at the front was a bonus. We love travelling and have stayed in many hotels, including an Ice Hotel in Norway. The beds vary widely. Our bed at Escape was one of the most comfortable we have slept in. 10/10 for that. The breakfast menu was good, the food tasty and plentiful. All the staff we encountered were efficient, helpful, friendly and had a sense of humour which we found engaging. There are some fantastic details from the original house which have been preserved despite its previous life as flats. Beautiful stained glass windows, carved wooden fireplaces and stairs. We wish the owners luck with the restoration of the verandah. From Escape it is a pleasant, easy walk into town. It's at the right end for the pier. Access to the road up onto the Great Orme is easy too. We can recommend the whisky tour too. Very interesting and you get to taste it too. Escape is an ideal place to explore all the Llandudno has to offer. We enjoyed our stay. PS afternoon tea at the St George is excellent. I can recommend their Old Fashioned cocktail. Thank you Escape for a great couple of nights. We wish you al the success with your renovations and hope your business flourishes.

Booked a 2 night stay with breakfast included. The House is set over 3 floors with around 8 rooms. we stayed in room 8 offering a double bed, bath tub and separate toilet. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were a bit worn. One was too little 2 too much. I still have the crick in my neck 3 days later. The room offered a TV with plenty of free-view channels, tea and coffee and sweets plus free water. In the bathroom there were nice quality towels and a small selection of gels for washing. The only obvious downside is the exterior condition in places, single glazed windows, paint in need of refreshing, the external facade covered in orange tape and being supported in places with building supports. I understand that repairs are likely to be expensive but securing the issue needs addressing as it looks really worn. Also I think the gardens and pathways could do with clearing up, maybe a jet house will spruce it up a bit. Breakfast was exceptional, fresh and quality with no request too much of an ask. Outside there is off street parking for 5 cars and the pathway takes you from the house down to the parking and then the street. Town is just a few hundred yards away so despite the hilly bits getting to town and then walking along the promenade is an easy walk for all ages.

A musty smell on entry, almost like cat urine. No Aveda products, coffee machine or view as stated on ***********. Our room was stuffy, small and a bit depressing. The breakfast room was very warm and stale smelling,no fresh air at all. Tried to open some windows but all painted shut. All very run down and needs some updraging and maintenance. Our room was by no means superior and overall a disappointing stay. Never mind 5 star, it would be lucky to get a 3. Have been in contact with the owner but he was all about his own troubles and questioning my honesty rather than taking in his customers experiences and complaints. Much better places to stay for the money in Llandudno .

If you are wanting a perfect sleep on the mattress of your dreams then stay at Escape. Our copper bath room was spacious and warm - beautiful curved glass windows added to the individuality of this Victorian building. Grace met us and was warmly inviting and she is a real asset to Escape. She had a trying weekend with some guests but remained professional throughout. Well done 'amazing' Grace! Escape is a ten minute walk from the town where there is a huge selection of restaurants and coffee shops. Breakfast was table service and the menu had a great selection of pastries and gorgeous local produce. Perfect morning coffee too! Thank you for the extra touches in our room - a truly personal service in a beautiful B and B. ** One quick thought: a few coat hooks on the back of the main and bathroom doors would be helpful.

We stayed here prior to going to the theatre, and we had a really lovely stay. What is outstanding is the quality of the service - we were lucky enough to be welcomed by Grace, who is a real asset, being extremely helpful and friendly. We were also lucky enough to meet her father, the owner, next day, and this confirmed to us that these are really nice people. We booked room 1, and it was a large room with nice colour scheme, lovely bay window with views over the town and sea, and a very comfortable bed. A beautiful bathroom too. One small suggestion, which did not impact our stay, is that the room could have done with being a couple of degrees warmer, but it was not a problem. Fantastic cooked breakfast, and a well stocked honesty bar in a very comfortable lounge completed a lovely stay. The b and b is slightly above the town, but easy walking distance to the seafront and shopping area. Highly recommended.
