Perfect place to stay with kids,big garden to playba ball ,lovely breakfast for adults and kids !(big plates :) Very friendly people, i would recommend to with my Hart

The staff we met were friendly and accommodating. I booked a room with a view, which turned out to be a track and roof tops at the rear of the Inn. The room was incredibly cold when first entered, and the heating turned off. The central heating when turned to max did not warm the room and was subsequently supported by an electric heater ( located in the wardrobe). We could see and feel the mattress springs through the fabric and the duvet was thin, to the extent we took a duvet off of another bed and doubled them up. Unfortunately the shower leaked but fortunately we only booked for one night. Possibly one of the worst nights sleep we have experienced and no breakfast available the following morning, as informed by the receptionist / barman on arrival.

Family visit in Wales living a short walk from hotel in the village Arrival at hotel was easy check i was allowed access earlier than expected after chatting to manager and was able to relax very quickly it was really helpful start to my Welsh Family holiday My room was spotless clean and comfortable also usual facilities in room room however bit outdated and probably updated deco required A decent size family room was my choice although I was on my own wanted space bigger style room separate to the main hotel and no stairs with separate entry free parking a definite plus Booked bed breakfast package and the full English breakfast was very good hot food and other breakfast cereal coffee tea etc items choices Helpful service from the lady Ronaldine the head cook bottle washer cleaner hard working lady running the breakfast in the morning nothing was a problem and what a credit the lady is to the Baltic Management owners This is a lovely welsh bed breakfast quiet type hotel Bar food in evening Wednesday to Sunday be aware closed other days however local village had a pub and pizza place Hotel is very close to Llanelli and local racecourse and attractions of west wales countryside and Swansea city up the road a short 30 min drive Checkout is this morning and have really enjoyed this lovely relaxing hotel on my Welsh Family catch-up in the local village Pont Henri and surrounding areas

Had my wedding reception here in June. Well what can I say? Awful experience. 1. Paid for 65 guests (buffet food and drink on arrival) , we had around 40 guests arrive in the end, so there should of been drinks on arrival left and food. There was neither. We paid for that? Should have been atleast 25 drinks left, and the food was not catered for 65 guests. We had guests arrive in the evening who's 2 children did not eat because there was no food left. And that the food was taken back to the 'kitchen' They left half an hour later so they could go an feed their kids. 2. The DJ was terrible, no karaoke, DJ just kept going off outside most of the night. 3. Paid for 8 tables / cloths/ chair covers and saches. Only had 6 tables, and kept my money for the 2 tables we'd already paid for. 4. Most guests came to me to say about the food, the drink and the DJ, and how awful it was. 5. We had the bridal suite booked for the night of the wedding which was included in our package, but I was so upset and so damn embarrassed we decided not to stay the night. All the guests had left by 10ish apart from a select few , so we decided to just go home instead and handed our room keys into the bar lady. 6. Explained the situation to the bar lady, who was amazing might I add, told her how embarrassed I was of the whole evening, extremely upset and left. I then had the owner phone me ON MY WEDDING NIGHT at 10.50pm, basically blaming everything on me and how none of it was his fault. Literally taken no accountability for the actions. ON MY WEDDING NIGHT. Or even an apology. We are in the process of talking to legal aid, would not recommend , spend your money elsewhere.

I booked a short stay at The Baltic Inn. I arrived and had received a text while I was driving saying that the bar and restaurant were not open due to COVID. I had to call to find out how and where to book in. I was advised that there was a door unlocked and my key would be in room. I didn't realise the building was completely empty until I went in. I immediately called the person back and said i wanted to cancel and be refunded as place was freezing and very insecure and I didn't feel safe there. He point blank refused. I had booked through Hotels com so then contacted them. That was a long call but they moved me to a wonderful hotel. The Baltic Inn director said that I should have checked their site and that their site stated that the bar and restaurant were closed. I have searched again but can't see that anywhere. Nowhere did it state that it was a totally empty building High marks to ********** but The Director/s and management of the Baltic Inn were a disgrace to the hospitality industry....leaving a lone female guest in a non secure building. Not impressive accommodation at all but it was the building having an open access to anyone that u found horrifying and frightening.

The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with a good size car park , a little out the way than where we would normally stay but a nice if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We had a family room which consisted of a double bed and single , our room was spacious , had a large bathroom with bath/shower , I would say the hotel itself is a little dated but our room was clean & comfortable with a beautiful view from our window. We had the cooked breakfast which was ok with the usual tea/coffee, toast , we were just told by the young man that was running the hotel that he would bring out the breakfast when we didn’t even choose from a menu which we thought was strange. When we wanted to pay for our breakfast we used the bell at the bar and waited about 10 minutes then we called the landline to try and get in contact with the young man as it seemed he was the only person running the hotel at that time. In a nutshell it’s clean and comfortable it just needs some TLC and someone on the reception/bar more as it seemed rather deserted at times.

Went here today for a family Sunday Lunch. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Food was great, with a large variety of vegetables at the Carvery and the beef was cooked perfectly. A little out of town, but certainly worth the journey. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed at the Baltic on Friday night. Arrived around 6 o clock and both our rooms had just been floor mopped and were still wet smelling of cleaning fluid and there was no heating on. A very unwelcoming start. The Inn had very few residents staying so had ample time to prepare rooms earlier in the day. Our room had a grotty old settee parked at the end of the bed with a shabby cover thrown over it. The fridge had not even been wiped out and was dirty. Duvets on the beds not adequate enough for that time of year. Around 4.30 a.m. we were woken by the fire alarm going off so had to trail down to the Fire exit. Not a single person on the premises to take charge other than the few guests staying - we had to ring a number provided and were told there would be someone there in 5 minutes - this was more like 15 minutes or so before the owner turned up. An apology given - it was a false alarm. Not a good situation on a very cold February night - what if there had been a fire? Cooked Breakfast was served 15 minutes after time specifically asked for and was cold. This could be a lovely place to stay but accommodation standards very low. Advice would be to steer clear.

Lovely clean room, with great facilities,had a heater, tv lots of tea. Beautiful decor. Mattress was a bit springy, but nothing a mattress topper wouldn't fix, and still had a great night's sleep. Had an evening meal which was delicious and big portions and same with breakfast. Looked really christmassy and cosy in the lounge. Was fantastic value for money and will come again.
