碼頭區船與床長灘飯店(Dockside Boat & Bed Long Beach)

Kent was a friendly and attentive host. At the same time, he allowed us the privacy we wanted. The location is the best possible spot in Long Beach. The boat was very comfortable and a big hit with a couple of clients we invited aboard. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the stay and our overall experience. We'll definitely be back!

DON'T PASS THIS UP!!!! Our stay at Dockside was the best thing we've ever done for an overnight trip. What an AMAZING experience. Kent, the owner, was so helpful and accommodating. The boat was clean, beautiful, stocked...everything you can possibly want from a hotel. Perfect view of the Queen Mary. We can't wait to go back.

Kent was SUPER helpful and we would definitely stay there again. Positives: check in and parking was SO easy, and management very nice! Location is great and from Serenity we could see Queen Mary, Parker's Lighthouse, and the lighthouse across the harbor. Shops/restaurants less than a 2 minute walk. So convenient. There was nothing we particularly didn't like, however, it might be good to note that the steps to the downstairs bedroom and upstairs to the top deck of Serenity need some dexterity to navigate (they are steep) so for older or less mobile folks be careful. The shower is the same way, it's over top of the toilet so it's hard to navigate, still a fun adventure though! We watched a movie at night and couldn't find a foot rest so we makeshifted an outdoor loungechair and brought it inside. A little bench that could be used as a footrest for viewing movies would be a very accommodating comfort if this tip helps. Personally, I would have liked the privacy screen on the front window of the boat to be optional as it dimmed the view out the front of the boat. It wasn't sunny the day we were there so I would've liked more light to be allowed in, but that's just a preference. We really loved it, and it was nice to rock to sleep in the lower cabin. The bed was very comfortable. We hope to grab a couple of boats next time with some other couples' friends. Thanks a ton for a unique experience.

We had a great stay! The boat was really clean and neat, and we enjoyed the relaxing feel on the water, and the cool breezes, the view of the harbor, and we had perfectly calm, sunny weather. There was an abundance of places to visit, shopping and restaurants easily within walking distance. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we definitely hope to return!

my experience was not so great. i was told according to the itinerary sent i couldn't have more than 6 guest on the boat at one time and i complied with that rule. it was not clear you really only can have four guest on your boat. I was not stated you can only have 4 guest on the dock also. The manager there was really discriminating against me and my guest. we had no music playing on the dock, but the neighboring boat played their music & a big party boat pulled up to the dock , which had nothing to do with us and he took it out on me and my guest, that was totally wrong and upsetting. also at the end of our stay he mentioned i booked through a third party as if , he was displeased because i didn't book directly through them. The trea**ent is definitely different if you book through a third party. this is very discriminating and no guest deserve this trea**ent when spending their money no matter who they book reservations through.

It was a scenic “room” in the midst of the main night scene in dockside Long Beach! The views from the boat are wonderful, and less than 10 minute walk to dozens of places, and bike rental. The downside? You’re on a boat! You are climbing up and down ladders and steep stairs to get from here to there, the toilet/shower area is roughly coffin-sized, you need to flush conservatively, etc. But the location made it worthwhile to us.

I really liked staying on the boat and it was a great experience. Very friendly and helpful guest services. Thanks again for the stay.

This was a great and romantic experience.. The owner was super nice and respectful.. Everything was walking distance and the environment was joyful and beautiful.. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in experiencing living in a boat.. its was nice.. i loved it and would definitely do this again..
