The room is big and the location is easy to reach as well. However, the surrounding area is filled with homeless and ************, I didn’t feel safe when I went back the flat at nighttime. Meanwhile, the service is extremely poor, staff is rude and unhelpful. My room originally had no hairdryer, and I went downstairs to the reception for over 5 times to finally have it delivered. Other than that, they totally mismanaged the booking information as I was supposed to stay 4 nights with them. In the morning of my fourth day, their staff just broke into my room while I was asleep without permission and demanded me to leave. They later realized I was supposed to stay one more night there upon clarification. With these terrible experience, I would never go back to this hotel even it is for free. Extremely unsafe if you are a girl travelling alone in LA

Romslig og komfortabel leilighet, gode senger, rent og innbydende. Urbant og stilig design og interiør! Kjøkkenet kunne ha vært litt bedre utstyrt, og det hadde vært et pluss med kaffefilter tilgjengelig. Det var vanskelig å finne kanaler som fungerte på TV-en, men det er kanskje slik amerikansk TV fungerer? TV med Chromecast og Apple TV hadde fungert bedre for oss. Nabolaget er ikke det flotteste, for å si det mildt, men vi følte oss aldri utrygge.

The suite I stayed in was very spacious & clean, they provided a kitchen & full bathroom with excellent closet space. The king size bed was very comfortable with fresh linen. Both of the TV’s were HDMI ready with all of the Roku apps. The hotel is in the middle of Downtown LA’s historic core so there will be a lot going on outside but other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Our stay at The Haas had a bumpy start as there were some issues with our reservation and the room we had booked was no longer available but we were given an upgraded room at no extra cost so no complaints on my end! We had a three bedroom unit and it was nice and spacious. There were some limitations on the kitchen supplies that were available but we made do. All of the front desk staff were friendly and a pleasure to speak with. The only downside really is the area but there's nothing that can be done about that. The downtown area is definitely sketchy, dirty, and full of homeless people but it's not too much different from other downtowns in big cities. The same could be said about the noise levels. It's a downtown area and it's going to be pretty noisy at night. The one thing my group noticed since we come from a colder climate, is that their windows are single pane instead of double pane so more noise definitely gets through. Overall, we had a pretty good experience! Very happy with our choice to stay with them, especially since it was within walking distance to the concert venue that was the main reason of our trip.

I’ve stayed in a lot of places but this was the most deceiving one ever. Not what we expected. This was a very loud location that kept us up all day and night because the poor quality windows (single pane glazing). Our one in-house phone wasn’t connected so we had to use our personal mobile devices to contact the front desk. Staff were generally nice - that wasn’t the issue. But if you need a good sleep look elsewhere. Very disappointing.
