We are highly disappointed with our stay. From the first interaction with front of desk staff who gave us attitude, to poor room service and poor quality of food. We waited for 2 hours for room service only to receive cold food, an incomplete order and what did arrive was so poor. We left for two days to Livingstone (super impressed with the Protea Hotel) and returned to Holiday In hoping for a better experience only to find our booking was not completed correctly even after confirming three times with reception before departure. After a long trip we were looking forward to a smooth check-in but again we were disappointed. It just gets worse, we booked family/interleading rooms and the interleading door does not even work. And it kwpt getting worse - we confirmed 2 nights with reception downstairs, we receive a call 15 minutes after getting into our rooms that she's only processed 1 night for 3 rooms and we must now come down again to make payment for the other night. I've never seen such poor service from all the departments in 1 establishment. We can't even trust to use room-service again after our experience and have to look for food in the middle of the night. We are frequent visitors to Lusaka, we usually stay at the Quorum or Radisson - it was our first time staying here and unfortunately it will be our last. The only good experience we have had is with the breakfast staff who were very helpful and friendly.
