The room was less than satisfactory. Smelled bad, cigarette smell in the bathroom. Bathroom was not cleaned well. Door was blocked open when we arrived. The carpet in the hallway was atrocious - loose, not stretched and a major tripping hazard - obviously not installed correctly. We had to ask for more towels, soap, shampoo. One soap and 1 shampoo is not enough for 3 people.

We checked in a little later on a Saturday night - they were fully booked. Dingy and Yuck, smelt like cigarette smoke. We asked for a vacuum to clean the carpets. Boogers on the walls. Mold on the shower ceiling. Sheets seemed clean, accommodations as advertised. There was newer tile and carpet installed, but craftsmanship standard was not very good. Parts of trim molding missing, gaps in trim and sloppy finish work just makes the whole place seem chincy. Some reviewers said everything was fine… they must not have kids or be like… clean people I guess… for $150 a night I could have saved some cash and went to a cheaper hotel with the same standards.

The front desk staff was great and breakfast was good but the housecleaning service was not good. We stayed three nights and after the second night we asked for a cleaning while we were out seeing friends and doing things and the room did not get any attention. The air conditioner was noisy, the floor lamp didn’t work and the outlet at the sink didn’t work. There was only one coat hanger in the closet and the front desk gave us two more.

We had signed up for King size bed with all the amenities. Except there was no refrigerator, elevator was not able to be used, and ice machine was out of order. The linen was available only for one person when there was two of us. The bathroom had it separate sink and it was located in the hall as you opened the door. However the morning breakfast was quite satisfactory.

The Staff was very friendly and helpful but the property was very sloppily remodeled and there's no doubt it was diy the furniture was out dated the elevator door kept getting stuck just my opinion and perhaps a few others have stayed with Choice brand but the Immigrants that you are allowing to use your brand name are running it into the ground I've stayed with choice under one of their brands on a number of different occasions and whenever it's foreigner owned the property is always a mess.

We stayed 1 year ago and it was nice but his time it was horrible. They put us on the 2nd floor and the elevator didnt work. Our 1st room was nasty. Thier was hair and crumbs on the bed. The toilet was running when walked it. So they gave us a different room it wasn't any better. The sink clogged and the floor looked like the didnt vacuum it. It could use more lighting. No bugs in the bed ( thank god ) breakfast was ok not the best. Staff at check in was not friendly. My husband went downstairs to smoke and thier was about 15 young kids playing in the lobby being loud and no one at the desk. Nobody said a word to them. A 15 year old ask my husband for a cigarette. It is not a safe place to stay

Three things that need to be fixed ASAP: 1. Bulging carpet in hallways, at least the 2nd floor. 2. Ironing board cover is nasty, needs to be replaced. 3. Bath tub is rusty around the drain, needs to be cleaned and polished.

Elevator out of service , no pop vending working, no WIFI, floors weren’t swept in our room. I will make a real effort to let people I work with and know about this chain. I’ll stay with Holiday Express,, no concerns never an issie.

I like the culture of this hotel. Everyone minds their business and your free to enjoy your stay the way you want.
