Well they have removed the common courtesy of an early check in. This property now charges for an early check in. The breakfast is poor at best and the pool was cold. I reported the ice machine leaking back in November when I was over charged fir room during hunting season and whee we n I stated this time in was still leaking. The newest have left the property go a little.

What a delightful hotel!!! If your looking for a sweet clean, lovely hotel with “service with a smile” this is for you! We were looking for a hotel to break up a long drive…and we sure found it. Lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms.

Depot Inn and Suites is an amazing place to stay! Great rooms, and it is also a train museum. Very friendly staff, great breakfast. If going through Missouri and looking for a place to stay go to La Plata and stay here.

The staff is excellent, the property and rooms are top notch. Excellent Mexican food restaurant right next door and Kirksville just north for any and all extra shopping needs.

All the trains and decor were great for our toddler that lives trains. The rooms were pretty, clean and very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and wonderful. Will stay here Everytime we travel west!!!!!

It is actually a train/railroad museum in the motel and l am a railroad buff. What a surprise! Well presented and education. The room is one of the nicest l have ever stayed in! Very well appointed and not shortcutted on finer points. An actual KEY for the room instead of some card thingy that is awkward to use. I could go on and on.

Really great place to stay. I absolutely recommend the jacuzzi suites! Staff was polite, rooms and grounds were clean. You won’t find a better place in the area.

Fun train theme, beautiful architectural details, super clean, and friendly helpful staff. My daughter forgot some jewelry in the shower, and they were so helpful getting it back to us. The breakfast was kinda sad, though. We will stay here again.
