亞馬遜旅館(Posada Amazonas)

El mejor hotel para visitar la Amazonia peruana. Hotel eco turístico metido en medio de la selva, equipado para visitar y vivir la selva, su flora y fauna, en todas sus facetas. Todo incluido, con guías preparados y amables, resultó una experiencia increíble para mi familia. Dentro de las opciones no se debe perder el Canopy de 45 metros de altura para observar y escuchar la selva, así como el lago de las tres Chimbadas, lugar único para ver caimanes, nutrias gigantes, monos y aves exóticas. Recomiendo mínimo dos noches!!!

POSADA AMAZONAS LODGE is the perfect distance from Puerto Maldonado. Remote, yet accessible within 1.5 hours by bus and riverboat. Experience the 6th sense of native guides, such as Luis M., while on nature walks in the jungle. We were birding, but were shown so much more! Medicinal plants, majestic trees, Brazil nuts, river otters, capybaras, tarantulas, caterpillars, butterflies, frogs…. Organization of activities, accommodation, meals, managed by Cesar, was top notch. The canopy tower, clay lick with hide, oxbow lake are all nearby and reached by riverboat or jungle trails. The activities are geared to your interests. Lectures are given by on-site researchers. We are so pleased that our Peruvian travel agency, SETOURS, booked us at this amazing lodge. Don’t worry about the open sided room. The mosquito nets work well! You will feel very safe at this lodge! Everybody is attentive and kind.

El lugar es muy bonito, con 3 paredes y una ventana grande abierta a la selva. Por lo que vale la crítica que tengo es que los Snack que sirven son de poca variedad y siempre es lo que sobra del desayuno, aunque hay fruta a disposición todo el tiempo. La otra crítica es que está casi todo en inglés, incluso la lectura disponible. Por fuera de esos detalles la gente es muy amable, César se comporto excelente y los guías Rocio y Rodolfo también. Sobre guías una pequeña crítica es que en la excusión al lago nunca hicieron silencio o muy poco y no pude hacer un video capturando el momento de tranquilidad, de hecho estando todos los huéspedes en silencio apreciando la naturaleza (éramos 4) se pusieron a hablar entre ellos de experiencias laborales y hubiésemos preferido que lo hicieran en privacidad en otra ocasión.

Excelente Lodge, sobre todo un excelente trabajo colaborativo entre la empresa privada y la comunidad nativa de infierno para la conservación de los bosques de Tambopata. Me encantó la arquitectura del lodge, las excursiones y la comida. Una experiencia inolvidable para viajeros y entusiastas de la naturaleza, adultos y niños! Con ayuda de la Guia Lucy, pudimos ver mucha fauna y flora.

Excellent experience overall— really kind and welcoming staff at every point of the journey. All transfers were well organized and smooth. Excellent and educational excursions all around the rainforest. Delicious food for every meal. We had wonderful guides- Freet and Alvaro. Enjoyed our time here!

Overall the experience was excellent. Very well designed hotel. Rooms were large and comfortable. The pickup drop off and the wild life tours were well organised. We saw some wildlife like 3 types of monkeys, capybara, otter family, caiman, barking dear and some beautiful birds and butterflies. The guides were ok. One of our guides was good but the 2nd guide was very disinterested. But our biggest disappointment was the food. Although the quality of food was good, the quantities at the buffet were limited and if you didn’t go early some of the dishes were over and they wouldn’t refill the dishes. They just said sorry it’s over. It wasn’t a good feeling when you are in a remote location and there is no ala carte to run out of food. The massage was also ok.

Traveled with brother, son and father looking for an Amazon adventure and we were not disappointed. We saw so many things: macaws, monkeys, capybara, giant otters, tree frogs and more! The mosquitos were REAL, get some Peruvian repellant with the good stuff don’t bring it from home.
