Holiday Inn 曼哈頓校園(Holiday Inn Manhattan at the Campus)

My room was not clean. I had hair in my bed along with some black stuff. My tub looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed, we wore flip flops in their. I put some food in the fridge. Went to get it out the next day and it was bad because the fridge did not work. My daughter was excited because there is a pool, it was closed for maintenance but we were never informed that before booking. The walls are paper thin between rooms. I could hear everything our neighbors were saying, talking in a normal tone. The location is however great! Close to campus and Aggieville.

The attached restaurant was dirty and poor service. We had to switch rooms because there was blood on the sheets on one of our beds. The front desk attendant was apologetic and switched our room right away, but from the comments she was making on the phone to me it sounded like there were many poor housekeeping issues going on this day.

I woke up with bed bug bites on my hands and the front desk said they were going to refund my room and as I can see that has not been done and no one still has got back with me regarding this matter! I understand things like this happen but communication is the key here and assurance of a solution and a clean stay at a facility is they key here!

We came to Manhattan for a basketball game at Kansas St. The hotel was very convenient and walkable to the basketball arena. We booked this hotel because the web-site stated that it had an airport shuttle. After landing at the airport we called the hotel and found out shuttle was only on request and they had no driver that day. This had not been stated on the site. We had to spend an additional $25 for a Lyft. The hotel offered nothing in compensation.

This hotel has been nicely updated in its decor and furnishings. We stayed in a King room with a jet tub and shower with body jets - very luxurious! This New Year’s Eve trip was for our 40th anniversary so we really appreciated the luxurious amenities. The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from the K-State campus, so we enjoyed a quiet walk down memory lane around campus. We also appreciated the breakfast offered in the connecting restaurant - for a reasonable price.

Specifically booked a Jacuzzi room and it didn't work. Upon checkout I reported it and they acknowledged it was out of order, no offer to reduce room rate. Otherwise accomodations were nice.

My husband and I booked a room last minute - not foreseeing we would have to stay in Manhattan for the night. I had previously stayed at this hotel pre-COVID and I enjoyed my stay. The room I stayed at was so nice and clean. However, I can’t say that for this stay. We booked a king bed bedroom (with it being a handicap room) due to it being the only king bed available. We apologized profusely to the front desk receptionist about us booking it with it being a handicap room, but they understood and mentioned they had plenty more handicap rooms. Our check in process and check out process were great. HOWEVER, once we got into our room, we were incredibly disappointed. The inside of this handicap room looked like the inside of the room of a Super 8 bedroom. The blankets and pillow sheets were stained. There were stains on the dresser. The WORST part of it all was the bathroom. I genuinely feel so bad for the people that need to use that bathroom. The shower area SMELT SO BAD, like dried pee. We had to keep the bathroom door closed due to how bad the smell was. Prior to us checking in - we were hiking, so we were incredibly sweaty. We wanted to shower, but we chose not to when we saw that bathroom. I am SHOCKED at the utter inconsideration the condition the room was left in for the next handicap guests. This room did NOT meet the niceness and cleanliness as the room I stayed in before. Handicap people whom need accommodations DESERVE better than what that room was offering.

It is a good, safe, place to stay and among the most convenient places to stay if you want to access both KSU campus and Aggieville. This was a decent place to stay 40 years ago when I lived in Manhattan and it is still a good option.
