I stayed for one night in The Park Hotel and i chose it as it had a swimming pool and leisure facilities. After travelling from Dundalk all i wanted to do was to check in around 4pm and totally relax and that is what happened. My room was perfect but the only thing missing was cup of tea making accessory so I settled for the complimentary still water that was there. I went to the Leisure Centre for a swim and steam room but the pool was crazy busy with children from the locality in for lessons but i didn't mind as they were getting great tuition from those in charge. I knew they were soon finishing up so it got quiet after a while which was nice so I had a lovely hour or so. The only thing i felt uncomfortable with in today's world was the exposed and not very private changing room as mature men old and young having to navigate changing in front of very young children whos curiosity was evident as that is what children do. I'm glad I'm over that stage with my children as I would hate them to be put in that situation. Children's safeguarding needs to be looked at. Later i had a beautiful dinner with Seafood Chowder, Seabass and Tiramisu with nice house wine and it was simply delicious. My server was a waitress called Leah who was worth her weight in gold, very attentive, extremely pleasant with very friendly personality but at the same time knew her place and stayed focused on the job at hand. Thank you Leah! Overall will i stay here agan? Yes, but I'll give the Leisure a miss
