This is a charming hotel in a quaint little town away from the high prices on the coast, but only a short drive to Bodega Bay. The rooms was spotlessly cleaned and the furnishings simple. The bedding was high quality, the room had a space heater and central air/heat, delicious coffee (maker) with cream and sugar handy, the daily NYTimes right outside the room. The restaurant (Rockefeller Oysters) was also excellent serving "southern cuisine with a California twist." An apt description since they had excellent salads. The cute Valley Ford Creamery is right across the street and produce award-winning cheeses.
