Neu-Schönstatt飯店(Hotel Neu-Schonstatt)

Gute Lage, schöne Aussicht auf den See runter.

Das war ein wirklich sehr guter Aufenthalt! Das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe über dem Walensee mit einem schönen Blick auf die Berge und den See. Das Hotel gehört offenbar zu einem kirchlichen Tagungszentrum. Mein Zimmer inkl. Bad war sehr gut, moderne Möbel, ausreichend groß, tipptopp sauber, großer Balkon. Es gab einen kleinen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Auf der obersten Etage gibt es eine Dachterrasse mit Ausblick sowie einen kleinen Fitnessraum. Es hat einen sehr großen, kostenfreien Parkplatz. Das WLAN war ebenfalls gratis und funktionierte gut. Frühstück gibt es im Tagungszentrum des Hotels und war gut. Der Check-In funktionierte ohne persönlichen Kontakt über ein Terminal. Das hat technisch einwandfrei funktioniert, aber sonderlich wohl fühle ich mich nicht dabei, den Rechnungsbetrag zu zahlen, ohne das Zimmer auch nur gesehen zu haben. Ferner frage ich mich, ob es wirklich anzustreben ist, auch diesen persönlichen Kontakt noch einzusparen. Scheint aber der Zeitgeist zu sein. Alles in allem habe ich mich aber sehr wohl gefühlt - wenn ich mal wieder in der Gegend bin, werde ich wieder versuchen, hier ein Zimmer zu buchen.

I have spent a total of 7 weeks at this hotel for work reasons. Nice rooms, nice breakfast buffet, friendly restaurant staff and beautiful view. However, there is no physical reception... meaning you need to call their remote help center for any sort of assistance or administration. And therein lies the problem: - Noone feels responsible. From the 8+ times I called, I had a different person on the line every time for the same problem. There is not an assigned contact person for specific needs. Every time I called, I had to explain the situation again. - Unfriendly staff. While some of the staff were friendly, there were some who were not understanding and not willing to help with problems, that were previously solvable. Specifically a German lady who was very inpatient and unfriendly, at some point even outright snappy. - No internal communication. Things agreed on by phone call or per email aren't held up. Every time it required a phone call to solve issues with payment and receipts, even though it was the same procedure every week. There seems to be no concept of leadership or communication within the system. As for my company, we frequently book this hotel every year, resulting in hundreds of nights spent at Neu - Schönstatt. However we have now decided that the administrational stress and inflexibility of the Hotel goes beyond what one can expect and will no longer be booking here. If you are looking for nothing but a place to stay with no specific requests, this is a nice place to stay. But if you tend to require assistance of any sort, stay away.

Schöne neue Zimmer. Warum läuft diese unnötige Dauerbelüftung??? Es hat Fenster zum Öffnen. Bitte nachts ausschalten, sie stört. Sehr bequeme Betten. Selfecheckin möchte ich nicht.

Your experience may vary, as I checked in at 2:30am, which seemed difficult for them to handle. 1) There are no signs anywhere near the reception area pointing to the parking lot, which turns out to be about 100m down the road and appears to be a parking lot for a church. 2) I had to call someone to let me into the building. 3) The self check-in terminal did not work. It took two calls to get it figured out. 4) There is a map to the parking lot at reception. Because it is not clear (and admittedly it was in the middle of the night) I drove around and could not find it. 5) The vending machine in the lobby charged me for three items and delivered two. 6) All the lights are on a switch, except for the bathroom light, which is on a motion detector. I spent ten minutes looking for the switch before deciding I would live with the light, at which point it went out and I figured out it is on a motion detector. 7) I have stayed at probably 20 hotels in the last year, all of which had a check out time of 11am. This one was at 10am. The rooms are adequate, other than the bathroom light issue, and have a great view.

酒店的幾乎一切都很棒，房間很棒，早餐很豐富而且很棒。我只想指出兩點： 1. 不幸的是，沒有個人辦理入住，只有“自助服務”。它有效，但我個人更喜歡它。 2. 飲料和小吃只能通過機器購買，沒有酒吧或類似的地方。 但總的來說是一個完整的推薦！

Wie waren für den kurzen Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden!

景色令人驚嘆，簡直讓我屏住呼吸，太棒了！房間乾淨又新，早餐也不錯。 一切都很完美，儘管教堂裡有晨鐘，但也能淨化我的心靈。考慮到瑞士的這個價格，我會給10分（滿分10分），肯定會再來！
