We stayed two nights. The first night was fine. However, when we returned to our room on our second day, after spending the day in Memphis, our room was not made up. I went to the front desk and let the lady there know and she told me that we were supposed to ask for housekeeping services. I told her that nobody had ever mentioned that to us. She just shrugged and said nothing. So then I asked her if somebody could supply us with towels, Kleenex and toilet paper. She said housekeeping had all left. By this time, I was feeling really frustrated but I patiently asked her if she could get us the room supplies. Again she shrugged and just stood there. Finally after she realized that I wasn’t leaving, she very slowly shuffled off and eventually brought me what we needed. No apologies, no compassion or care at all. When we checked out, I asked if this was the Marriott’s policy to not provide housekeeping services unless they were requested. The lady said absolutely not! I also told her that there was no shampoo, conditioner or body wash in the containers in the shower. This lady was very shocked and apologized over and over. I would not expect this poor service from a Marriott hotel, nor would I recommend staying here unless you are desperate. A very disappointing stay for my husband and me.

I think someone got murdered in my room. Blood on the bed, curtains. I picked this place because Courtyard Hotels are supposed to have a bar, they didn’t have alcohol. I wanted to wash my clothes. Guess what? Washer and dryer are out of order. Want some ice on the 3rd floor? Too bad, out of order as well. They didn’t have was cloths. I actually need my money back for this one.

I left my personal pillow and I reported it to the front desk at the hotel about a hour after checkout. Sent a friend to pick the pillow up and it was no where to be found. Apparently housekeeping did not turn it in. This pillow cost me $40 and I’m extremely disappointed with the staff.

Bad weather caused water problems. Lost electricity off and on throughout the first night, which made for a very cold night. Staff should of issued to all quest some kind of flashlight to have in their rooms. I had asked the Manager if I could be reassigned to another Marriott in Memphis and was told their property was privately owned. I was not pleased. Ms. Collins/Thompson

The staff were fairly nice but the hotel was terrible. I booked a king with sofa bed. Got in the room it was just a chair. I asked to be moved, and we were but the sofa bed was disgusting. It had an old stained sheet on it and nothing else. You could see it had been slept on. The second floor carpet was so dirty that you could smell the dirt. The one dryer in the laundry was broken. Overall, terrible stay for a hotel with the name Marriot. I guess if you want a decent place to stay it has to be 5 star.

Carpet on the room was filthy walking around bare foot my feet got black from all dirt on carpet

No power and no employee to check in guests. We had to book another hotel and still haven’t received a refund for the original booking. You let us book a hotel we couldn’t stay at due to no power and no employees.

Dolores was super unhelpful!! The bed was super hard….. by far the worst hotel stay I’ve had in years!!!!

The check in experience consisted of a gentleman behind the counter, talking on the phone for 30 minutes before my husband was able to get our room keys. Once we got our room keys, we had to park all the way on the backside of the hotel due to most parking places occupied with one car for every two spaces. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast we paid for was not available. When we got to our truck, our back passenger window was busted out along with two other vehicles in tbe parking lot. We filed a police report and he told us this is common for this area. The hotel did file a police report in tbe middle of the night, but I’m extremely disappointed that this is common for this very nice hotel.
