喜來登孟菲斯市中心飯店(Sheraton Memphis Downtown Hotel)

The location is great and convenient to all the downtown happenings. The hotel staff were rude, unhelpful and to top it all off the air conditioning was out our entire stay. I asked to be moved to a different room to which the answer was no. Asked do they have fans for situations like this they said no. PLUS they charge my card twice for the room

Good for business travelers! But parking is only valet for 40$! Expensive!

We drive from Houston to Oberlin,Ohio and back, and this hotel is convenient because Memphis is our first leg of the journey and the property is near the freeway. Easy off and easy on. My only complaint is that after we checked out of the hotel, I noticed that I had left my favorite Polo shirt hanging in the closet, and so I immediately contacted the hotel lost and found when we got in to Oberlin that night. I made a report with hotel lost and found. I never heard back from them, and when I called back the next morning,nobody had documented my report or turned my shirt in to lost and found. The only people in that room after we left were hotel cleaning staff. After 2 days in Oberlin, we again stayed here on our way back to Houston, and I personally checked in with the front desk, and there was nothing turned in and nobody knew what I was talking about. I hate that this one bad experience altered my view of this property. I appreciated the clean and comfortable room, and the restaurant remaining open till 10 p.m. I had a nice 12 oz. ***** steak that was tender and cooked perfectly medium rare with 2 ice cold Stellas, and yet the only thing I will remember is losing my favorite shirt.

The air messed up multiple time while we were there. When we got to the hotel we had to leave it was so hot in the room. Came back and it was even hotter. They fixed it and it took all night to cool off. Checkout day I woke up middle of the night to it not working again. Every time I mentioned it to the desk the subject was avoided and nothing was done to remedy the inconveniences. So we left hours earlier than expected overall a very poor experience for what should be a great trip.

We chose this hotel for the main reason if it having an indoor pool for my kids. It came up well rated, and did not mention anything about the pool being closed for major updates. Very disappointing to arrive and find this out when we could have stayed much closer to our destination at a different hotel. Not having this information beforehand soured the rest of the stay. Hotel itself was fine, staff we interacted with were pleasant - but the hotel itself is a bit dated. We were also a little disappointed that the room was 2 double beds and not queens. While the listing did indeed say 2-doubles that's just not something we are used to as most places we have stayed were 2-queens.

Staff was great and super helpful. The rooms and common areas are in desperate need of a renovation. I would not call this a 4 star hotel in its current condition.

Everything was great I even left my wallet and they had security to go right up and grab it. Definitely will be my go to hotel

The room and hotel were clean and the staff was friendly and professional. My only complaint was that the curtain in my room was damaged.
