聖卡羅飯店(Hotel San Carlo)

La struttura, per quanto sia in una posizione comoda, è inutile negarlo ma è datata. Al nostro checkout, dopo una sola notte, abbiamo fatto presente che i due asciugamani per il viso erano sporchi e con capelli sopra. La receptionist non si è minimante scusata, al contrario ci ha “rimproverati” di non averlo fatto presente la sera prima. Rapporto qualità-prezzo altamente discutibile. Colazione accettabile.

We stayed there for 2 nights. I like the fact that the location is very close to T1 tram stop that takes you to Venice. The room are small and the shower is tiny. The air conditioning doesn’t work at all. It was Wednesday around 10pm when I went down to the reception and told the staff about the air conditioning not working. He was so rude and said to me that "whichever country I came from, but in Italy no one use air-conditioning in April". He told me to open the window because that's what Italian do. I said to him that If I open the windows, I can hear the noises outside and I can't sleep properly. Then he said that the air-conditioning is not healthy and doesn't give fresh air. I asked him if he can check the air conditioning for me, so he came up with me to my room. As we walked up the stairs, he opened one of the window by the stairwell and pull my arms to the opened window and told me that "Feel the cool air from outside and you should open your windows". In Canada, pulling and grabbing someone arms can be considered as assault. I could have sued him for that. This staff is so rude. I was surprised the way he acted. I was just telling him that our air conditioning in the room was not working and he raised his voice and keep saying "Mama Mia". No customer service at all, rude and mean. I will definitely not recommend this hotel. If only I can give 0 star.

Very clean & comfortable room with housekeeping doing excellent work daily. The front desk staff was extremely kind & helpful, specifically Alessandro who truly went out of his way to share recommendations. He helped us with meal, local travel & sites to visits along with a daily “Italian word of the day” to help us in our adventures. He truly offered excellent customer service & was a true asset to the hotel stay. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALESSANDRO & rest of San Carlo staff for a wonderful week. We can’t wait to return.

Hôtel sympa , simple pas cher par rapport à ce qu’on peut trouvé , parle un peu français , déjeuner bon , chambre simple et efficace , tram à 4min à pied pour aller à Venise direct , ils vendent des abonnements pour le vaporeto à Venise 25€ pour 24h c’est mieux que de prendre des tickets toute la journée … ils explique bien , parking gratuit sur place impec

Allora premetto che non ho alloggiato durante nessuna notte sono stata poche ore, perché la zona era veramente pessima siamo stati li meno di 12 ore. La pulizia e molto buona, le camere un po’ vecchie ma il problema è la posizione per una coppia non va affatto bene, abbiamo pagato li per 3 notti ma abbiamo dovuto a malincuore perdere i soldi e veramente troppo una brutta zona

Decent hotel. Quiet. A/C works great. Water preassure is strong. Only shampoo and liquid soap are available. Wish the rooms have tea maker. The breakfast mostly consist of pastures, which are fresh and delicious. Eggs, salami, cheese, butter, yogurt, hot tea and coffee are also served. Staff very friendly and helpful. Trolley and bus tickets are available to purchase at check-in counter.

For the price per night, we were disappointed that the A/C didn’t work in one of our rooms, we were on the third floor but the elevator was out of operation, and we couldn’t connect to the WiFi (this was a problem because we wanted to download movies for our long flight home the next day). The positives were that the staff was friendly, we were only 12 minutes drive from the Marco Polo airport, and it was a three minute walk to the team/bus which took us into the heart of Venice for shopping and touring. Purchasing the public transportation pass at the hotel was totally worth it. If the hotel can update a few things and keep up the friendly service, it would be worth staying…

Very nice people at desk. Amenities are null but good enough for just sleeping. Bathroom super small but if you are not too picky, this hotel serves well. We did have to walk up 2 flights of stairs with our bags since the lift was not working when we were there. This is an older building.

Albergo un po' datato nell'aspetto e negli interni. Molto rumoroso su strada trafficata ma per fortuna con doppi infissi che isolano i rumori. Servizi nella norma ma impossibilità ad usare correttamente il bidet per un cestino per la spazzatura fissato al muro proprio appiccicato...Comodo per andare a Venezia con il tram (fermata a 200 metri). Prezzo non proprio economico, 94€ a notte la matrimoniale senza colazione.
