Residence Inn Toronto Mississauga Southwest

I’ve stayed here before a few times and I loved it. I initially booked one day, and decided to book an additional upon arrival to the hotel. It wasn’t until AFTER my payment was processed for the additional day, and I was settled in my room, did the front desk call me to tell me there would be a mandatory fire alarm testing. I understand that alarm testing must be done however the length of time and the amount of times the alarm was tested was unacceptable. I would have appreciated being informed PRIOR to my booking that it would be tested. I left the hotel tired and un rejuvenated. The fire alarm went off for two mornings and was EXTREMELY loud. The pool area did not have towels until I had to inform front desk who then only replenished the hamper with a few. Also it would be great if the breakfast buffet was extended to at least 10am/10:30am. Often the point of booking a hotel is to be able to sleep in longer than your usual wake up time. With breakfast ending at 9:30am, you are forced to either wake early or miss it entirely. On a lighter note, I love that parking is complementary, the rooms are spacious and quite clean (despite the fact that I had to to switch rooms due to a leaking toilet) and the kitchenette is perfect. It’s equipped with every thing you need.

Front desk was extremely rude. Outlets weren’t working in my hotel room and instead the manager on call manish was extremely disrespectful and ruined our stay by yelling at me and telling me to simply leave if I don’t like my room rather then helping solve the problem. Even the technicians said the rooms outlets were default however manish refused and was rude considering my family and I were the guests there and were already late to go to a wedding when we couldn’t iron our clothes. He definitely doesn’t deserve this manager position has he has no respect towards the guests and does not know how to speak to people without his temper. Terrible to know such a hotel has such an awful person there ruining peoples trips.

2nd time staying here, staff was friendly, clean rooms. I was impressed the day I left, the management had an ice cream truck for the hotel staff to enjoy a treat on a hot summers day. Shows they carenot only about their patrons but their staff as well.

All the staff is very warm and welcoming. It is also a well kept facility thanks to all to who contributes. It is noticed and highly appreciated. Thank you.

Check in was seamless, and Ashante (hopefully I spelled that right) was so nice and informative. Room is spacious and clean, the kids say this is their favourite room they’ve ever stayed in!

We came from NYC for a wedding. The hotel was was clean and the breakfast was great. It was centrally located for our purposes and close to the airport. The staff was very helpful. especially Tenzin who worked at the front desk. She went out of her way to help us. Great stay!!!
