If this is all you can budget then still go, but if you can swing any more then pick another place. The BEACH was .... I am going to say great we had a storm move in on day one and 2 so it was a mess no fault of the hotel of course. they worked amazing on day 3 to clean up the beach. it's a small beach area and small swim area I was not use to that. unfortunately, due to the storm I was not there long enough to get any good snorkeling the waters just didn't calm the bottom of the sea bed enough to see anything Durning my 5 days. ROOMS; The view from the room was fantastic, I loved that I could spend the day in my room (storm) and still a great ocean view and see all that was happening on the resort as all the room look over the ocean and resort. rooms were clean they put a few drinks in your fridge. beds felt hard when you sat on them, but they were not bad for sleeping, I was quite surprised. Is this a 5-star room? NO but I knew that going in, yes there was chipped tile, yes every nook and Kranny of the shower had black grout from tons of use, I am not that picky I care if its clean and it felt clean just worn. no big deal to me. HOWEVER LOL we had no hot water the whole 5 days we were there. the remote for the tv was missing batteries we had to ask twice to get batteries and then found that no matter what button you pushed on remote it only turned tv on and off. The room has no coffee maker and try to get coffee at this place early .......LOL yeah rig

Staff was excellent! Rooms cleans and view wonderful! If I had to critic one thing is would be the food.

The property is in good condition. The location is the best, but … the staff are uninterested in their service jobs, but I understood it more when I witnessed a kitchen manager physically grab a staff member by the collar of their uniform, when he informed her the orange juice dispenser needed to be filled. One day we had no bottled water on the property until 3pm from the evening before. They ran out of beer at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. Food was good, but scarce. I believe there is a HUGE management problem, here. We had to beg for toilet paper. It’s sad, because like I said the location and all around set up of this resort is fantastic. I just wish someone else owned it.

Staff was not that helpful or friendly The food was the worst I have ever experienced However I was there for the beach and pool and both were wonderful

Everything about an All Inclusive resort is nice at RD Cornwall. Clean, there is constant cleaning. Selection of foods for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as the multiple places to enjoy the food and drinks. The second floor custom caffeine spot with Antoinette was awesome. Our vacation was comfy and enjoyable especially the outdoor games and karaoke in the lobby There are a few things I would recommend being aware of, the wifi is not exactly great. It was constantly one and off at various parts of the property. Forget the beach area, that's a mostly dead zone. They need to get a better wifi net throughout the entire property. Beware of the lesser used Beach area, there are plenty of biting sand insects who used me as a buffet meal. Ever experienced this in the two previous visits to Jamaica at different places. You will itch if they get you. Make sure to pack some antihistamines, vinegar and baking soda to help ease the itch. Had my itching for three days. Use the populated beach area. Less chance of bites. the wifi issue is the only controllable issues we had there, so, I would say this place is a solid 9/10 We would book here again.

Beautifully designed with all rooms facing the ocean. Can't say the same about the shower, actually a large shower but nowhere to put shampoo, soap or wash cloth but on the floor. Very cold food.

First impression the resort was ok. Then to realize the rooms were not ocean view as indicated on the site and by employees. The room was pool view with slight ocean view. Food: the food was all cold to the palette. The food was cold everyday even when they had warmers under them. Based on the response from the employees there was no microwave to warm the food. The only hot food was soup whenever available. Bathroom: one sink that takes a long time to drain the water. The standing shower: the water strength was strong; but the bathroom looks like mold at the perimeters. There was nothing to hold the soap while taking a shower. The towels were scarce. The towels never smell fresh either. There was never a bathroom mat provided. I called for towels from 7:30 am and the order was put in for housekeeping. At 9:30 am I went to the front desk to put in the request again. The employee said it will be up soon and it never arrived until 11:10 am. I got there Thursday and left Sunday without the bed linen being changed. I knew it was not changed due to sand from the beach and my make up still on the pillow. The room constantly stink of **** and we are non-smokers. Just to see we had a door joining our room with space under and over it that allowed smoke from the other room to sip through. On the positive side we made the best of it with the employees that made sure we had a good time. The majority of them were courteous, friendly and just had a good vibes.
