Staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We requested a first floor room with some accessibility for crutches and were pleased with our resulting ease in settling in. The bed was very comfortable. The hot tubs were both disappointedly tepid and the spa was not available at the time we went. Gina prepared a delicious hot breakfast with fruit, and we greatly enjoyed visiting with the other guests. Even though visiting in the Vermont "stick" season, we still had Sunday evening dining options close by. We want to return in the summer to see the splendors of the garden in bloom.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Phineas Swan. The eclectic 1880 farmhouse is amazing inside and out. The spa is a wonderful addition. Although the home is historic, it is updated. Very quiet and quaint. Wonderful cooked and cold breakfast is complimentary. Along with sodas, water, snacks and candy. Alcohol is on honor code. Town is walkable and safe. Restaurants and market nearby. We will definitely stay again if back in area. We came to enjoy Jay Peak Resort, less than a 15 minute drive away. P.S. Take time to read the history of the farmhouse, town and covered bridges in the binder in your room!

Stayed 4 nights in the Bulldog suite for ski trip at Jay Peak. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed use of the hot tub every evening after done skiing.

We had a phenomenal stay at this location for a Jay Peak ski vacation. We stayed in the Retreat Room which was perfect for us and our son. It was meticulously clean, cozy, and comfortable. The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. We loved walking around their well thought out and beautiful property. We enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor heated igloo, the spa, and the generous treats / snacks offered. It was also very convenient to purchase excellent wine on the property. We HIGHLY recommend this property for their location, great accommodations, delicious breakfast, and friendly owners.

Booked the Black Bear Suite and it was perfect for our small family! We especially enjoyed the snacks for the kids, local beer selections on site, and time in the hot tubs. Darren and Lynne were great hosts and served up a delicious breakfast. Phineas Swann B&B Inn will not disappoint!

We were celebrating Valentines Day! Just a quick 2 night get away. We loved the room we were in...romantic, quiet, great large shower! Breakfast was amazing! We were close to main Inn and hot tub. Bernies was a great place to eat and you can walk to...Belfry was another great place to eat. Lynne & Darren were great hosts. We are planning our next trip in March. Great place to relax, unwind and get pampered

My wife and I stayed in the Birch Suite with our 10 yr. old dog for two nights over Valentine’s Day. It’s a wonderful inn with great food, friendly owners and staff, and lots of nice amenities. We purchased a pet friendly package with our stay, and our dog was in heaven there. We left him for a few hours one of the days to do some exploring, and Lynne took him for a walk and spoiled him, which he loved! When it came time to leave, he wanted to stay. We didn’t have a chance to eat dinner at the inn, but the full breakfasts each morning were great. We ate dinner at two local restaurants in Montgomery Center and had good experiences both times. It’s a small town, but there is plenty to do. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Lynn and Darren were above and beyond to accommodate us. The spa was so amazing and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic and the Valentine’s Day dinner was splendid. The hot tubs and gazebos were soo enjoyable. Definitely going back!

Took our pup for a getaway to Dog Mountain and stayed at Phineas Swan. Great inn staff and owner were very friendly. Hot tub was fun and breakfast was amazing especially the Dutch Babies they made our final day. Room was clean and comfortable (Bulldog suite)
