市區國會大廈飯店-阿桑德連鎖飯店(The Capitol Hotel Downtown, Ascend Hotel Collection)

代客泊車需要認真重新設計。停車場距離酒店幾個街區遠，再加上人手不足，導致我的車在除夕之夜的早上延遲了 1 小時才還車。當試圖操縱一輛滿載的行李車繞過停放得很緊、留給代客泊車的汽車時，卸載我的車也遇到了問題。同樣，距離停車場距離太遠和人手不足也是原因。不要誤會我的意思，工作人員非常友善、好奇，並且嘗試在系統內工作。我把這個問題歸咎於管理不善。

這家飯店位置便利，距離市中心僅 10 分鐘步行路程。便利的披薩店就在隔壁。大堂酒吧很棒，希望早點開業。工作人員非常樂於助人而且很棒。然而，房間需要更新。看起來他們正在“嘗試”，但似乎做得很便宜。早上施工聲音很大，因為房間的入口在外面，不像典型的飯店。由於價格和便利的位置，我會再次住在這裡。

我們真的很享受在這裡的住宿。飯店接待員非常友好和樂於助人，她給我們留下了很好的第一印象。步行約 10 分鐘即可到達百老匯，但周圍有許多優步或共乘服務可以直接前往飯店。 （我們當時想：「哦，我們每天都會步行去百老匯！」讓我告訴你，那裡的步行很好，但是回來的路都是上坡路，所以我建議乘優步回來，除非你想鍛煉——我我不是哈哈）早餐其實真的很好！令我印象深刻。這家旅館*唯一*不好的地方是（顯然）它就在首都山附近，任何時候都有像鳥一樣的隨機警報聲，有時路上有吵鬧的汽車（對於這兩件事，只需帶上耳塞，它就很糟糕）好），水壓稍低。因此，如果您習慣了硬水壓力，您可能會有點失望。我唯一可以提到的是，浴室的門是一個口袋門，廁所/淋浴區和口袋門後面的水槽/鏡子/準備區之間沒有單獨的門。所以它不是最私人的浴室……但如果您與熟悉的人一起旅行，那麼這沒什麼大不了的。床並不不舒服，它們不是我睡過的最好的酒店床......但它們並不可怕。我會推薦人們留在這裡。

I pulled up to the checking in at the front door. The lobby looked like a bus stop and everytime the front door opened you could smell smoke. Despite having paid in advance, I chose not to stay there. Not at all what I expected. Looked run down and dirty with homeless people right outside.

The room doors are outside, like a motel. Dirty, trash in corners, staff around outside but not taking care of it. Elevator is outside to the rooms, unsafe. Dirty, old building. The “free” breakfast is ordered an a piece of paper, then packaged up in a styrofoam container. Very limited options. Coffee and water are free, all other beverages for breakfast are $4 each. Staff was pleasant. Would not stay here again.

The rooms all have a balcony overlooking the open parking garage. The elevator is located in the parking garage so basically anyone can walk into the elevator and be outside a room without being seen by or interacting with hotel staff. That felt unsafe. There was a bar with people hanging out both in the bar, the lobby and in the parking garage close to the elevator almost all of the time. That felt unsafe. One day I had to bring the staff's attention to the fact that someone was passed out lying across the bar. The food was terrible-we had wings and chicken tenders. We were there 4 nights and had to ask for housekeeping 3 of those days when no one had arrived by late afternoon. Then we had to stand outside while they cleaned when we really wanted to rest in our room.

I would never stay here again. It was a glorified motel. 90% of the rooms are accessed by an outdoor walkway like a motel. You had to go outside to get to the elevator, room was tiny, free breakfast was powdered eggs in a to-go container. Not even close to being worth it for $350 a night.

I am not one for leaving reviews, especially negative ones. When I found this hotel on *******, I was excited. An Ascend Hotel near Broadway during a busy weekend, what could be wrong. First, the pictures are totally deceiving giving the impression that the rooms were modern and spacious. Look at the pictures for yourself. They made sure to get the best angle. The lobby was a mess, the bar, lunch space and sitting area are all one large room and that's okay I guess. What's not okay is that is not a hotel, it is a MOTEL and should be advertised as such. The lady at reception was super nice and helpful and I sort of felt bad for her because she was the only working and taking care of everything from luggage to reservations to checking in. Again, quite deceiving on website from what it actually is. Not enough towels, dark and dingy corridors, unsafe stairs and not enough space in the room for four people. The worst part was the price. We paid $450 for a hotel that should cost no more than $150 per night at best. Ascend is a chain of upscale boutique hotels, this is not that. I would not stay here again ever.
