I stayed 4/1/23-4/4/23 with my wife. They do not have a parking lot so we used their valet service for our rental car. Their valet service messed something up and we received a parking ticket. Budget rental charged my card $149.53 for the fine. I reached out to hotel and they said pretty much nothing they can do because it is a third party company who valets the vehicles, even though I paid the hotel for the service. When i asked to speak with the hotel manager, I was referred to Virginia Sacdalan, who I found out later was not the manager. She referred me to Will Arsta, who works for the valet company. Will told me that yes they made a mistake and my card would be refunded immediately, a week later it hadn't been. I called and he brushed me off for another week only to tell me that they can now only paid the rental car company the fine, even though I had already paid it. After some back and forth, he sends me a receipt that he had paid the fine to the company who issued the fine, not Budget or myself. So I suppose that I now have to give up or figure out how to get Budget back their money so I can then hopefully get my money. Absolutely ridiculous, should have just refunded my car the $149.53 and been done with this months ago. We really liked Nashville, but I can tell you with certainty that we will not be staying at any Hyatt properties any longer. There are plenty of really nice other options in Nashville as well as anywhere we plan to visit.
