Perhaps naively as an Accor platinum member, I assumed that might count for something. Sadly - nothing. Stayed here twice in July. First trip there simply was no acknowledgment of the status. Nor did I get. Check out bill / folio as the staff member gave me. Different figure every 5 minutes. It’s fair to say he was new, had no clue and didn’t represent the hotel well. I had to email to,ask for one. Given I was back in 2 weeks, I mailed the duty manager and asked that he check my booking, room and reception would be as expected. We had booked the 8th floor terrace rooms as very expensive treat for our last 2 nights of our US road trip. On checkin they tried to give me. Floor 2 room, busy street facing and said that the 8th floor was unavailable. Long story short, eventually given the room, in a building site and woken at 3-00 and again at 6-00 by manager arguing on phone with staff member who had obviously resigned and was being ‘encouraged’ to come to work. Not what you expect in a near $1,000 a night room. Manager had given himself the room next door. The hotel is moving to Hilton. Good luck, Accor is well shot, it’s an embarrassment. .
