傑科海灘飯店(Jetwing Beach)

I really should have stayed here more than one night. It has a few restaurants where the food and drinks are reasonably priced. There are a few pools to swim in and the hotel is right on the beach. It was a beautiful place.

Room rates were significantly lower on both Jetwing website and *********** for the dates I picked. So, I thought they are having a big promotion or discount for these days, and I made a booking directly, paid the 100% total amount(including taxes) displayed at that time using my credit card and got the confirmation email. Pretty usual right? After several hours I got an email from the Jetwing reservation team saying the rates were lower because of a system glitch and now I have to pay more than what I agreed to. It did not look like a glitch to me as I refreshed the website multiple times to be sure the rates are correct. As any other customer I'd expect Jetwing Beach to honor my reservation which was already confirmed and paid in full. But the reservation team insisted that I pay the "new" rate. This behavior from a 5-star hotel is unacceptable and utterly disappointing. I would avoid this hotel next time as I don't want to be scammed again.

Auch nach dem 4. Aufenthalt im Hotel Jetwing Beach sind wir wieder sehr zufrieden. Wer einen erholsamen und ruhigen Strandurlaub verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben. Der gepflegte Naturstrand ist klasse, das Personal ist in allen Hotelbereichen spitze und das Essen war wieder einmal super. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Nachhaltigkeit mit der das Hotel bewirtschaftet wird. Absolute Empfehlung, immer wieder!

This hotel was a lovely place to get over the flight to Colombo. Staff very friendly, rooms very nicely appointed, with lovely big bathrooms including a massive bath! Right on the beach so great location. Very long pool which is great for laps. Food very high quality, especially the breakfast - outstanding.

This was only supposed to be a quick stop over before our tour of Sri Lanka started but it didn't disappoint. Our room was comfortable with a great bath! It was very quiet and breakfast was a la carte which was good. We had a quick lunch in the restaurant but due to the heavy rain we had to eat in the restaurant and not the beach bar, but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is aging and the rooms are in dire need of renovation. We had a Deluxe Room with Sea View. The room has a terrace with two wooden chairs without cushions. The beach is wide and nice, but unfortunately not clean. There are a few tourist stores and a small supermarket nearby. There is breakfast à la carte, with good choice and quality, dinner was also quite good and cheap. The pool is nice, the sunbeds by the pool are old. The massages in the spa are cheap and good (nice staff from Bali), but the facilities are spartan. The staff is mostly friendly and attentive, except for one waiter (Nilan).

We only stayed one night here, it was a fantastic stay. Room was wonderful and the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Hotel very beautiful and staff couldn't have been nicer. Just sad we had only one night here, if your looking for somewhere exceptional this is it.
