Great location and the room was big, bigger then some others in NYC. Just need a kettle in the room would be better.

Generally great staff. Rooms are very well appointed. The restaurant food was very good. Location is great for getting around, but, the hotel is effectively on top of the subway stop and if you are at all a lite sleeper you will hear it. I’m not a lite sleeper but on our second night, Dec 24, the MTA decided to either test the PA system of just have a friendly staff conversation at 1am-til 3am. There was no way to sleep at all. The hotel only has three rooms per floor not facing the street, so the probability of getting a back-facing room is low. The windows are double pane, that didn’t help. It’s too bad about the noise situation, I would stay there again if not for that.

Wonderful service, extremely friendly and attentive staff. Amazing location in Tribeca, gorgeous updated room and view was spectacular. Looking out the front of the hotel down the street to see all of NYC beauty down the Empire State Building. Near 9/11 memorial, Hudson Yards, best restaurants for a Thanksgiving and after unforgettable meal. Xavier was a delight, so was the front desk staff and we will be back!

Well located property. Clean and good sized room, however the water pressure was lacking. Despite upgrading to a better room, we were given a lower level room (2nd floor) which looked out onto a bar. It was very noisy and we found trouble sleeping at night. One night there was a loud fight outside the bar. There is no free water and the bottles in the room are extortionately priced at $6.50 per bottle (excl. tax).Better to buy from a CVS. Upon checkout they tried to overcharge for the upgrade and add a facility fee. After a short discussion, our bill was amended by $400 lower than initially charged.

Firstly, the front door staff were super friendly and attentive so I would give them 5/5 rating but the room itself was disappointing. We let the staff know that our room was humid inside and the bed was damp and they sent someone up to fix the air conditioning but that wasn’t the issue. The bathroom also didn’t have a fan so it wasn’t drying between showers. When we tried to explain this to the engineer he said that’s just how it is because it was humid outside. We evidentially just gave up and had to sleep in the damp bed. Like other reviewers mentioned, the bathroom isn’t very private since there isn’t a door to the toilet and the shower has a frosted glass wall. We moved hotels to a different area and we didn’t have the same dampness issue with the same weather so I would say it was this room. All in all this was a slightly disappointing stay for us.
