Burrendale鄉村俱樂部&Spa飯店(Burrendale Hotel Country Club & Spa)

We have visited the Burrendale on many occasions and the food is delicious, the Burger was beautiful today. My only criticism is the amount of chips given, a little more would be need to have a satisfying meal. Other than that, lovely and good staff.

What a beautiful hotel with amazing views and fantastic staff. The hotel is currently upgrading rooms but still so comfy. The new Cottage Bar is fantastic, what a transformation and great music last Friday Night (Stevie McVeigh). I also want to thank the house keeping staff, who I sometimes think get forgotten. Rooms and beds are spotless. Looking forward to another trip soon.

Average hotel with below average rooms. Towel rack hanging of the wall at one end in the bathroom. Basic TV, free view only. Lamps not working in room. Hard to get reception of the hotel and health club on the phone so we had to go to the reception in person to ask questions about the hotel. Pool and health suite were OK but nothing special. One thing I can't fault at all wad the food. Absolutely beautiful. Starter, main and dessert. The staff in the restaurant however were a little annoying, especially one on the servers, he kept invading our space and of others and you could see a few other guest getting annoyed also. The views of the surround area from the hotel are amazing and most of the staff were extremely helpful. All that being said, we had a nice time at the hotel but I would probably try a didn't hotel next time. But the food was worth the stay.

Booked for a meal for my parents and myself, we really enjoyed our meal and the surroundings. Our waitress mellissa was really polite and helpful and had a nice way about her. The deserts were beautiful and darach was also very helpful pat on the back to both staff. Thank you.

Difficult Breakfast. Nothing labeled up with Allergen Symbols. Had to question Porridge what type of milk made with. Had to ask about Porridge with Oat milk - reply query on enough oat milk left! Did Bake Beans had Gluten? What type of Batter for the Pancakes? Unsure the reply. Was served Coffee with jug of Cows Milk knowing I was waiting on Porridge with Oat milk. Sadly no Fat Free Greek Yoghurt or Plain Fat Free Yoghurt. Excellent Vg Lunch & Vg Dinner. Sadly Dessert Vg Meringue very dry, with a little blob of berries. Maybe berry juice or Coconut Cream or Vg Ice Cream could have helped!

On behalf of the Galway Walking Club C group and our leader Tom Gormally, we would like to thank the Burrendale Hotel for taking care of us and providing an excellent service on the weekend of 16-18th March. The Hotel's facilities were much appreciated by our group of 50 plus hikers. This was the start of our 4 peak challenge and Sliabh Donard did not disappoint. We would recommend the Burrendale to any group of hikers planning a visit to Co Down.

My self and two friends visited this place in February for two nights Spa break.Night one was fine...night two the hotel was holding an event and the hotel was over run by hoards of young children running jumping shouting and generally being young children.It was like a playground. They were totally unsupervised and not a parent or hotel staff member intervened.I stress they were not bad children just dozens of them running mad around the place At 10.00 we could stick it no longer and went to our room.The next morning we complained to reception staff..the girl on duty told us that they were unable to answer the phone as they couldn't hear the callers due to the noise.We each emailed the hotel management to see what they intended to do about our spoilt evening.I got a reply saying that would upgrade our room on next visit....I replied to say that we either would expect one free night on a next visit or a refund for second night. NO REPLY to this email.....!!! Sent a reminder Email.....Still No REPLY......seriously is this how you deal with legitimate complaints? We have all stayed previously as have our families and friends. Disgraceful customer services....atrocious management of the out of control kids on the evening and worse still the ignorant way our complaint was dealt with....

Awful service Went with my husband and 3 adult children for my husbands birthday . We had a reservation but were given a terrible table right next the door - I knew rightly we would be ignored. After 30 MINS!! I told a member of staff that we had been waiting 30 mins and no one taken our order or drinks order. Lots of people were coming in after us and being served. The girls response was - they were very busy and understaffed. We watched her go up and talk to the restaurant manager who looked in our direction . We waited a further 15 mins so that was 45 mins in total - I gave the menus back to one of the waiters and said - here’s your menus - no one served us . I even went to the reception in the hotel snd complained to them too about the terrible service but by this stage I was so upset and annoyed- I just had to leave . Went to the Percy French - far nicer. I personally will never be back, and I would not recommend.

Very disappointed in the service that I witnessed. Staff were rude, and the service was absolutely horrendous to say the least. The overall experience I had was disgraceful. I personally will never be back, and I would never recommend.
