萊姆河套房飯店(Lymedale Suites Studios & Aparthotel in Newcastle under Lyme & Stoke)

Stayed for over 2 months in one of the studio flats. Flat was always warm, quiet and connected with great WiFi. Comfy bed, excellent power shower and great kitchenette. Laundrette accessible as part of the aparthotel too. Sandra on reception is always happy to help with any queries. Great place excellent value and couldn’t recommend enough.

We arrived as a group and were allocated Bungalows 1 and 2 upon reaching them we discovered they were in the rear carpark. Entry and exit to our apar**ents were in the carpark with no pavement or barrier meaning cars are driving in and around the doors at one point an adult and child in our party were narrowly missed by a reversing car. Our apar**ents were no the most clean with milk stains on the worktops and dirt and hairs in the bathroom also the sink in the bathroom didnt drain so was unusable.The beds were clean. We were out most of the day and returned late in the evening with very cold wet kids to discover our heating in the apar**ents didn't work. We called the night porter who was quick to attend but couldn't fix the heating following instructions via an engineer on video call she tried her best but couldn't get it running, there was no other rooms to accommodate our party so she returned at 11 pm with two inadequate blow air heaters. To say we spent a cold uncomfortable night is putting it mildly it has a impact on our day out and returning journey home. I emailed the hotel and had a response saying it had been passed to a manager and they would get back to me within 48 hours 9 days later another email sent and still no response, very unhappy poor service. I will include photos of the dirty in the bathroom and worktops and photos of the door entry/exit and how close the cars are to it.

First time staying in an Aparthotel and would definitely would recommend Lymedale Suites. We booked direct with the hotel, which was cheaper than going through third party suppliers, booking in was easy and staff friendly and helpful. The room was big, tv, wardrobe, computer table, bedside tables, counter with stools. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. The kitchenette is basic with 2 ring electric job, fridge and microwave. Only one saucepan and frying pan. Everything was very clean. There is some road noise but not enough to bother us. There is a good bus service into Newcastle under Lyme. Would use again if in the area.

Booked a stay to visit my other son in the area and to visit Alton Towers. Traffic on the way from Dorset was horrendous but Sandra phoned from the hotel to check that we were on our way. When we explained about the traffic, she was great and said if we didn't make it by 6, she would arrange alternative check in for us. We eventually made it just before deadline and Sandra greeted us and checked us in. The room was ideal for our needs over a 3 night stay however, the neighbouring room turned out to be a problem and we needed to call the night porter who dealt with the situation. When I discussed the matter with Sandra the next day to find out if we could move rooms, she dealt with the issue very efficiently (booted out the noisy couple and blacklisted them!) and we had no further issues. While I agree the road outside was noisy and the blinds let in light, I used my earplugs and sleep mask that I always have in my wash bag as I'm a light sleeper, but my son had no issues at all. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom too with plenty of hot water and the kitchen was well equipped. Would I stay here again? Definitely. What a lovely place to stay! So, so pleased with our rooms - my daughter and my dad thought exactly the same. Clean, comfortable with everything we needed and slept so comfortably. Lovely staff and excellent affordable prices. The restaurant attached was brilliant - a whole range of lovely meals available again all at amazingly good prices. The restaurant/bar staff were friendly and welcoming and there was a nice outside part where we could also sit. I simply could not recommend this place enough.

I was traveling for work. Lymedale Suites is perfect for families that need a kitchen or if you are in the area for several days and want to save money by preparing your own meals. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The wifi is strong. Beds are good.

The family room is clean and tidy, very spacious but need a little bit maintenance, some doors are old and need repairs. Quiet environment for staying and sleeping.

Did the job for four nights. The place is well kept. Everything is clean and everything works. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Excellent value, clean, quiet and safe. An easy stroll to dining and supermarket. I'd stay again.
