凱布瑞尼飯店(The Kilbirnie Hotel)

Returned June 30 on Mon to Fri Caledonian coach tour .booked a front room which was very clean and comfortable with view of the Atlantic coast .Public areas were lovely with a nice sunny sitting room at front ,spacious public enter tainment bar leading to elevated patio area overlooking the outdoor pool .see pics .the restaurant open to the public had a beautiful spacious feel to it with local murals and posters of lovely newquay .food was great at breakfast porridge and eggs to order taken by friendly attentive and super efficient staff .Dinner was a joy ordered at breakfast with 3 choices each course .food hot delicious and so well presented .indoor heated leading to outdoor for the brave had a lovely ambience ditto throughout the hotel .we would return in a heartbeat so if you choose this original not chain hotel you will be pleasantly surprised .entertainment laid on four nights was a bonus and very professional. Well done to all the lovely staff ,can't fault it .

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber und mit Meerblick. Hatten das Hotel zum Beginn unseres Cornwall Urlaubs gebucht und bekamen vom Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption (absoluter Surffan) viele wertvolle Insidertipps für unsere Reise und unserem Aufenthalt in Newquay.

an absolute fabulous hotel ..we stayed here in march for 4 nights ,5 days..came with caledonian coach holidays we had room1 on ground floor which was a beautiful room ..a lovely comfy double bed ..wardrobe ,desk,cupboard, tv ..2 windows & a single bed setee..a lovely big room & a big bathroom with bath & shower ..all spotlessly clean ..food very good & staff lovely..gemma out of restaurant was lovely & very helpful ..we would love to return but a long journey by coach but will see Barry & Barbara Anderson xx

Reception fine with early book in. Reception staff very good. Breakfast average. Room clean and tidy. Noise in room horrendous. Because the adjoining wall to next room must be paper thin. Heard all conversations clearly including someone snoring all night. Unacceptable. No sleep 3 nights. Will not be back.

Very good hotel. Clean. Comfortable. Nice staff. Food good. Very little to find fault with. Well done them. The hotel is front line so nothing to spoil the view. An easy walk into town. Have accessible disabled toilets on ground floor. There are leisure facilities which are complementary

I've just completed a 4 night stay here with Jason Edwards Travel .and I would definitely recommend the hotel .really nice Reception / bat / entertainment areas .Good size rooms with very comfortable beds .rooms even have a safe .well decorated hotel . Dinner is waiter service and great lovely food well prepared and tasty quickly served .Breakfast is a buffet style with a good variety. Entertainment every night .we were well looked after by Stewart and his team .would I come back yes .Jason Edwards Travel has lots of great price holidays

We had a one night stay for my sons birthday. Family room was.big and very clean.only down fall the heating and towl rail won't working which we reported to reception to be told there nothing they could do as no one around to take a look..then once again in the might time I told the night porter and he very kindly caught us a porterable electric heater to keep us warm.. beds was ok Breakfast was nice but they kept running out of hot food.

There are not many superlatives left to summarise my stay. On arrival my room, 101, was immaculately clean, warm and welcoming with a good hospitality tray and a kettle devoid of any previous guests water, exactly as it should be. Ok the plastic kettle handle had a small piece missing and maybe should have been replaced. The bathroom was large, the shower providing plenty of hot water and the towels were good. A grab handle may help some guests but with a window maybe not easy to fix. The evening meal was excellent with a varied menu, the breakfast equally as good with plenty of choice for those not wanting the hot stuff. Keeping everything hot is always going to be an issue when breakfast starts at 7.30 and lasting a couple of hours. The entertainment on each night was exceptional with Andy on wednesday night doing 140 minutes without a break. Outstanding. The staff were terrific, sociable and very welcoming. I wouldn't normally mention individuals but Blessing and Emma were fantastic. Hospitality at its best. The hotel and staff certainly know how to look after coach parties, many travellers on the tour were so complimentary about their whole experience I do hope they give a review. My expectations were well and truly exceeded. Thank you for a superb stay, even Ciaran could not dampen our spirits, and oh yes Happy Hour was not to be missed.

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a coach holiday & were very happy with the choice of hotel. Probably the best we have stayed in on this type of trip. The reception, bar area & our room were newly decorated & everything was spotlessly clean & tastefully done. Could not fault our room, clean & comfortable. Plenty of hot water available & nice fluffy towels. Food choices were good at both breakfast & dinner although did keep running out of hot items at breakfast. Drinks selection in the bar was very good and prices very reasonable for a hotel. Evening entertainment was good especially Fri night with the singer Mike Williams. Location good only a short walk into town centre or there were plenty of buses with a stop outside the hotel. Staff at the hotel were all lively. Helpful & friendly & went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a good time. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel & would love to come back.
