瑪南飯店(Hôtel Magnan)

WE LOVE SONDER! The staff made us feel like family. Melissa, Sebastian, John, and the rest of the crew even bought us a Christmas present because we were there for 2-months. They remember our preferences and even let me practice my French. The location is the best. Right off the Mediterranean Sea with the Promenade de Anglais just outside the door. There’s a great restaurant downstairs, and many more near by. If you’re looking for a place that will feel like home when you’re visiting Nice, you should pick Sonder!

Stayed here for two nights while traveling from Italy to Aix en Provence. The hotel is a block walk from Promenade des Anglais, which is the promenade near the Mediterranean coast and the beaches. We arrived at Yelo before check in but there are lockers (limited) in the basement where you can store your luggage. Our room faced the front of the hotel, which was the main street. Beautiful view of the coast to our right. The room was on the small side, not much maneuverability but it was clean, as was the bathroom. The bathroom was nicely decorated, however, the shower floor was extremely slippery. Once you got your footing, you didn't want to move. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and courteous. There was no coffee maker in the room, however there was an espresso machine in the lobby, right outside of the elevator. This is where you could find rolls of toilet paper, and some hand towels/toiletries. Full servicing of your room (cleaning, toiletries, etc) is available at an additional charge. As we were in Nice for only two nights, 1.5 days did not explore much. We did do a half day excursion to Ezes and Monaco which worked out really well. There was a cafe/restaurant right next to Yelo which was very convenient and very good, le Magnan. The ride to Nice Riquier is about 10 minutes. Take Uber, not a taxi (overcharged). All in all, satisfied with this accommodation, especially for a night or two. If the stay was for longer, would opt for a larger room or another lodging option.

We stayed in the best room and it had amazing views. The staff very pleasant and location good. There is no restaurant but there are many in the area and one next door. There was many ways use public transport. We had a lovely break thank you.

My wife and I spent Three nights at La Promenade, We were impressed by the Extremely welcoming and friendly staff and service. The Ukrainian lady who was cleaning our floor was charming and we chatted for some time.She seemed quite happy, At the front office The young man who spoke THREE languages, seemed to be a very efficient manager and we met John and Mel, who made us feel at home. The hotel is very well situated and very clean. There is a lot of importance given to the " saving the planet " philosophy and we were very happy with the next door restaurant for meals. The young Man in charge, Sebastien, is very welcoming and was appreciated by all, staff included. I would recommend a stay there to any person wanting to spend quality time in Nice , near AND far from the crowds!!!

I was with my husband and my doughter in the hotel for two nights. After we left the hotel and came to the ferry Barcelona-Palma we realized that we did not put my husbandscosmetic bag in our lagguage. We just left it on the table inside the room. It is important to say that my husband left Louise Vuitton cosmetic bag and very valuable parfume and facial care in it. After calling the recepcion, their answer was very rude and unpleasant. They have said they did not find it and we have to look for it at the other place. After I explained again in my email they promissed to investigate but never responded again. For the future guests, just be very carefful with your belongings or do not book the room here. Aleksandra Bogdanovic

Absolutely loved it! We booked a couples trip and we had the best time. Both the area and the building were so beautiful and our room was the comfiest ever. We loved the modern design of the furniture and decoration. The beach is just a step away and the views are amazing. 10/10 recommend! We used the Sonder app to book and check-in, very smooth process!

Stayed here for 4 nights we came on a motorbike it's location is excellent for the beach ie 50 meters away. The tram stop is 100 meters away which takes you either to Airport or the port via various stops for around Nice. A Patisserie is around the corner for breakfast etc. or an adjacent restaurant. Our view was excellent of the beach etc. Now the Downside. Unfortunately our room required some tlc and was very small Ie bathroom had been re tiled however finishing touches still outstanding. Not the cleanest room. Although bed lines etc were changed and clean. There was a distinct strange aroma when we went along the corridor towards our room.. But must stress not in our room. The gentleman who ran the establishment was excellent in his helpfulness and always had a smile. Cost wise yes it was at the cheap end. This hotel would be excellent if it had a full refurbishment true the price would go up..

L’emplacement était idéal sur la promenade des anglais, petit déjeuné pas mal ! En revanche la chambre doit être refaite et mis à jour (trou pas refermé, télé qui ne fonctionne pas, lit double qui sont simplement 2 lit simples accoles !) Et le personnel pas très aimable ! Je ne peux pas vous le recommander…

Preis Leistung ist ok. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer bietet alles was es für ein Weekend Städte Trip braucht. Zentral gelegen (Promenade, Strand, Translation, Altstadt). Das Frühstück kann man sich sparen. Gutes Cafe/Restaurant unten im Gebäude.
