古爾哈尼姆之家精品飯店(Gul Hanim House Boutique Hotel)

Im Folgenden werde ich Ihnen aus unserem Zypern Urlaub berichten. Wir kommen aus Deutschland und möchten hier so aufrichtig wie möglich unsere Eindrücke schildern. Dieser Beitrag könnte vor allem für solche interessant sein, die Einblick in die authentische und traditionelle Lebensweise der Zyptiotinnen und Zyprioten gewinnen und alle historischen Stätte zu Fuß erreichen möchten. Auch die Grenze in den griechisch-zypriotischen Teil der Insel ist über die Einkaufspassage, die auch von vielen Touristen besucht wird, schnell erreichbar. Das Hotel befindet sich im Herzen Nicosias in der Altstadt. Namensgeberin ist die in den Bildern zu sehende süße alte Dame, Gül Hanim, die auch gleichzeitig die Oma der Inhaberin und Einheimische türkische Zypriotin ist. Das Hotel war früher ihr Zuhause und alle 3 Zimmer sind dementsprechend traditionell eingerichtet. Für die Verpflegung, die Küche und die Sauberkeit im Hotel ist Nazli Hanim zuständig, die uns sogar jeden Morgen am gemeinsamen Frühstückstisch frischen Orangensaft aus Bioorangen aus der Region gepresst hat. Der Frühstückstisch ist gleichzeitig der inoffizielle Meeting Point der Gäste; hier kann man das herzhaft zubereitete Frühstück mit gutem türkischen Kaffee genießen, etwas plaudern und energisch in den Tag starten. Hier lässt tatsächlich nichts zu wünschen übrig. Wer dennoch allein frühstücken möchte, für den/diejenige gibt es natürlich auch im Foyer Möglichkeiten. Die Inhaberin, Selay Hanim, ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Sie ist ein Organisationstalent und erstellt auf Wunsch einen Tourplan samt Karten und Tipps. Der englischen Sprache ist Sie auf muttersprachlichem Niveau mächtig und ist für Ihre internationalen Gäste stets zugegen. Man kann Sie bei Fragen jederzeit anrufen, auch bei Angelegenheiten, die nicht Hotel interne Dinge betreffen und fühlt sich somit sehr gut aufgehoben. Anbei füge ich einige Bilder hinzu, die ich selbst fotographiert habe. Für alle, die es traditionell und familiär möchten und Wert auf Sauberkeit, Authentizität und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre legen, empfehle ich dieses Hotel von ganzem Herzen. Ich gebe ganz klar 5 Sterne!

Belle expérience dans la Boutique Gul Hanim située à Nicosie Nord. La chambre et la salle d'eau sont petites mais décorées avec recherche et attention. Le petit déjeuner est complet, très bon et mention spéciale pour le jus d'orange frais, pressé "à la minute" et aux délicieuses confitures "maison". Il est regrettable que cet établissement soit situé dans un endroit très dégradé et nous n'avons pas trop apprécié l'insistance quasi quotidienne de la part de la propriétaire pour nous inciter à visiter la partie de Chypre "occupée". Ce n'était pas notre choix pour de multiples raisons !

Boutique hotel piccolo ma eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista: la proprietaria Selay è stupenda , amichevole e sopratutto una persona simpatica e disponibile e ti fa stare bene solo a vederla. prodiga di consigli su tutto quello che è Cipro Nord , ti consiglia sia per acquisti che per ristoranti, testati di persona, e tutto eccellente. Pulizia della stanza perfetta e stanze che sono delle bomboniere e soprattutto una cucina a disposizione quando sei in hotel, e ed una colazione sublime con una spremuta di arance fuori del comune e delle marmellate fatte in casa ..."da urlo"; consiglio quella al limone ed alle arance. Non fatevi spaventate dal quartiere e dalla strada; siete nel centro storico di Nicosia Nord, il quartiere è sicuro e non ci sono problemi di sorta. Io ho girato fino a mezzanotte e sono rientrato con mia moglie senza alcun problema... forse poco illuminato si. Comunque è un hotel che raccomando a tutti sopratutto noi italiani che siamo amanti del buon gusto e del buon cibo e sopratutto vi raccomando Selay, che è stata unica...ovviamente vi intratterrete a chiacchierare con lei ma importate è avere un buona dimestichezza con l'inglese. Solo un consiglio, se siete una coppia , se potete prenotate la matrimoniale se disponibile, altrimenti anche quella con due letti è ok. Unica piccola pecca è che le stanze sono un po' piccole ma...mica dovete stare in stanza se non per dormire. wifi potente. Altra pecca più grave, è: le camere hanno la TV ma, ho fatto scorrere i primi 234 canali, sono solo turchi con Erdogan che appare dappertutto e sopratutto pure la CNN in turco...insomma non ho trovato un canale in inglese. Un consiglio per Selay: sintonizza magari CNN, BBC, e Al jazzera e Sky news almeno in inglese. Un consiglio: per aiutare Selay ( che come ripeto è una splendida persona) prenotate sul sito dell'hotel e non sui altri siti perché le commissioni sono altissime

We had a wonderful stay here at the end of March. The breakfasts were one of the best we had on our three week trip with freshly squeezed orange juice, filter coffee and many different home made preserves. Selay went out of her way to be helpful with sightseeing and restaurant suggestions, not just for Lefkosa but also for Kyrenia and Famugasta. WE would definitely stay here again should we return to the city.

This was a last minute booking for only one night, but I wish I had found this hotel earlier and booked for a longer stay. This hotel is a small beautiful gem hidden away within the narrow alleys of old Nicosia. What can I say that hasn't been said before by others reviewer? In a perfect location, this cute little hotel has everything. I would give it 5*s for comfort and amenities. The breakfast was the best I've had in a long time, freshly made filter coffee and freshly squeeze orange juice 😋 We ate in the beautiful courtyard that is so relaxing with its many beautiful potted plants; it has a great vibe and wonderful place to chill. The host Selay was wonderfully welcoming. Thank you. 🙏

I highly recommend this guest house! The landlord is extremely nice and generous, she gives very good tips and advices on her city/country. Perfect breakfast, wonderful rooms ! Lefkosa is worth seeing !

Ms. Selay was very helpful in all processes from the beginning to the end of our vacation. She explained in detail all the places to visit in Cyprus after we arrived. They have very nice jams for breakfast. I especially recommend pomegranate and peach jam. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Everything was very nice. We highly recommend it. Thank you very much

We stayed for two nights in April at Gul Hanim House and really enjoyed it. Great location just inside the old city walls, beautifully decorated building. Breakfast with home-made jams and other-home cooked foods in a lovely little courtyard. The host, Selay, will give you plenty of useful information about Nicosia and other locations in Northern Cyprus. We took a taxi from Larnaca airport to the hotel, but with little luggage, you could also get dropped off at the Ledra Street crossing and walk ten minutes to the hotel. No need for a car while checking out Nicosia.

Selay hanım, mükemmel bir insan, her konuda yardımcı oluyor, odalar yeterli ve otantik mutfak harika çay kahve sınırsız, kahvaltı dahil konaklama, nazlı hanım in ellerine sağlık her taraf tertemiz, selay hanim Kıbrıs aşığı birisi, yaşam enerjisini paylaşan birisi,,, yine gitsem yine orada kalırım,,, lokasyonu çok güzel, havaalanı transfer i var, kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum
