高山飯店(Alpine Hotel)

Hôtel très vieux manquant d'entretien. Tout est d'origine, l'électricité dangereuse, salle de bain sale, baignoire marquée de lignes des traces de bain. Fenêtres non jointives, des toiles d'araignée partout. Les draps et linges de toilette très gris jaune, vieux mobilier non entretenu. Encore les boules de Noël dans la hall. Repas sans grand choix. Le personnel tout juste aimable. Bref à fuir.

This hotel is located in front of the Nuwara Eliya Race Course Ground. Staff if Friendly and helpful. During our visit hotel bar was close because of some bar license issue. Hotel is very old one but they maintain it's old style and rooms renovated with modern amenities. Bed is super comfortable one and hot water also not interrupted one because some hotel in Nuwara Eliya had issues with Hot water but we didn't face that issue in Alpine. Room rate also cheap compare to other hotels around this property. This property got ample parking space for guest's vehicles. Sunrise from the room was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel.

We went by some nice reviews and booked Alpine hotel for a 3 night stay. The hotel is very old and run down. Carpets had bad odour bedsheets had blobs of patches and shower curtains were muddy with dirt. This place is not clean and it's a surprise that the authorities allow its operation at the current hygiene levels. We promptly took our bags and left for another hotel. Did not ask for a refund of our advance payment. Hope this review helps other guests.

A EVITER. Ce n'est pas l'aspect qui nous a choqué, c'est la saleté, la moisissure. Les rideaux de douche sont moisis. en retirant la housse de la taie taie d'oreiller, cette dernière était remplie de moisissure. On a l'impression que le sol a été lavé sans balayer et que tout a été mis derrière les portes. il manque des ampoules. Les chambres sont recouvertes de moquette et en sortant de la salle de bain avec les pieds mouillés ceux ci deviennent sales. J'ai pris des photos.

Alpine is definitely the place to be if you are searching for accomodation in the heart of Nuwara Eliya. This hotel is very old, yet is very appealing with it's vintage wood works, modern furnishing and importantly cleanliness. The hotel rates seemed very reasonable in comparison to the other places we looked at. The rooms were very comfy, and the food was mouth watering too. Mr Dhammika, the GM of this place was such an amazing gentleman. His hospitality was super class, made sure we felt like home in all ways. All our requests were satisfied to the best levels by both Mr Dhammika, and his co-worker Ananda. Alpine will definitely be our spot in all upcoming trips. It was indeed a trip to remember.
