Residence Inn Silver Spring

This location was very nice. The service was nice and it was very clean. How, it was advertised poorly on this app. The room I booked using ********** stated that it was a 2 bedroom suite, with 2 double beds. There was only two bedrooms with ((one bed))in each room. The front desk stated that this service did not exist. All of my guest were unable to stay and had to purchase additional rooms.

I thought that the amenities were sorely lacking, considering the near $500 price, for a night in Silver Spring, MD. Most glaring, there was no shampoo or other personal cleansers in the bathroom, and the "breakfast buffet" was a joke. I get COVID, but there is no reason that you could not offer a more appealing grab & go breakfast. I went down at 9am, and the vending machine style dispenser was nearly empty, and what you had was laughable. And no shampoo or soap?! I've had better amenities at every mid-level hotel I've ever stay at. We didn't explore the pool or other things advertised, but shampoo and breakfast is pretty basic. Disappointing.

The hotel fit exactly what I needed. Privacy for myself and my teen, very clean, and near the zoo. This was a stopover on a long trip and was very pleased at the location and the cleanliness of this hotel

Great, warmer than normal Christmas weather gave us a chance to use the sport court for some fun Knockout basketball. Visiting family for the holidays and being a pet-friendly hotel was great since we didn't know how our new puppy and my sister's dogs would get along so we needed a separate place to sleep. The free Grab & Go breakfast sandwiches and egg frittatas were hot and always replenished. And the other items were great: cereal, milk, yogurt, hard- boiled eggs! Our suite was roomy and comfortable and the surrounding landscape was great for dog-exploring. The staff was friendly. Overall a very nice stay!

The front desk clerk was very professional and courteous. The studio suite was just amazing and the breakfast was not bad.

Well, the website gives you a nice pool to swim in and enjoy. They do not disclose that have have it locked and covered with a tarp. We stayed there for 8 days, June, 2021. The weather was hot., The nice grill by the pool not functioning. They stuck a tiny grill inside nice Viking big grill. The American breakfast promised was a lousy Continental breakfast of cold cereals, granola bars, little pastries, juice, and not so good coffee. If you went down early and asked they would give your cold egg muffins. Not much fruit usually ripe bananas, and they did not offer yogurts, pancakes, nor waffles. The room was dark with one window for a studio room. The photo of our room showed a complete kitchen, with a stove, but it only had a cooktop. Only the two bedroom suite had the stove, they explained. I would not stay there again. There are other hotels in the same area that looked nice and newer. They said something about new management and the pool was someone else’s responsibility.

The room was very spacious. The hotel is in a good location with nearby shops. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This isn't my first time at this location. As always the staff was polite and accommodating. Great food options near. A great way to spend home away from home.
